About

EndoShelf keeps track of gastroenterology and endoscopy supplies by scanning the barcode already printed on the box. It replaces the paper par sheet. Scan an item to receive it onto a shelf, or to record that it was used, and the count changes for everyone at once. WHAT IT DOES Scan to receive and scan to use. Point the camera at the manufacturer's barcode — GS1 DataMatrix, GS1-128, UPC and EAN are all read. Where the barcode carries a lot number and an expiry date, both are filled in for you rather than typed. See what is on the shelf. Every product, how many there are, which room they are in, and whether that is above or below the par level set for it. Know what is about to expire. Stock is offered oldest-first, so the box that expires soonest is the one that gets taken. One tap for a whole procedure. Build a button for what your team uses every time, and press it once. Keep a record that holds. Every change is written to a history that nobody can edit or delete — not staff, not managers, not administrators. A mistake is corrected by adding a reversing entry, so the original and the correction are both there afterwards. Share stock between sites. Centres in the same network can see which of each other's supplies are surplus or close to expiring, ask for a transfer, and record the stock leaving one shelf and arriving on another. Stock that would have been thrown away at one hospital can be used at the next one instead. Add what the list is missing. A product that was never on the starting catalog, or a new store room or cart, can be added at the shelf by anyone holding the manager role, rather than waiting for somebody with a computer. Print a label for anything without one. Every product and every place has a QR code on the phone, ready to print — including a product added five minutes ago. SET UP YOUR OWN CENTRE Create an account, name your clinic, and you are its administrator straight away. Nobody has to approve you, because there is nobody above you and nothing of anybody else's to reach. Add the rooms, carts and cupboards you actually have, load a ready-made endoscopy catalog of 198 products if it suits you or add your own as you go, and hand your staff an invite code only you can issue. Everything you put in it stays yours. No other centre can see your stock, your counts or your history. BUILT FOR THE PEOPLE WHO USE IT Large tap targets, plain labels, and as little typing as possible. iPhone and iPad, portrait and landscape, light and dark. ACCESS AND CONTROL A centre you create is yours from the moment you create it. Joining one somebody else runs works the other way round: you enter their invite code, the app tells you which centre it belongs to before anything is sent, and an administrator there approves you before you can see a single count. Roles decide what each person may do, and every one of those rules is enforced by the server rather than by the app. NO PATIENT DATA EndoShelf holds no patient information of any kind and has no field capable of holding any. There is no patient record, no medical record number, no date of birth, no diagnosis and no procedure detail. Using a supply is recorded only as a quantity leaving a shelf. Every free-text box in the app — the notes on a receipt, a use, a transfer, a new product or a new place — carries a standing warning that patient information must never be entered, and when a product is created, text that looks like patient information is refused outright rather than warned about. EndoShelf is an inventory tool. It is not a medical device, it offers no clinical guidance, and it takes no part in anyone's care. WHAT YOU NEED Nothing but the app. Download it, create an account, set up your centre, and start scanning. There is no invite code to hunt for and nobody to wait on. If your clinic already uses EndoShelf, ask them for their invite code instead — that is what joining an existing centre takes.

One tap for a whole procedure. Build a Quick use button for the things you go through every time, press it once, and every item comes off the shelf together. Each button belongs to a room, so it can only empty that room's shelves, and it always uses the earliest-expiring box first. More → Quick use. Items that arrive in a big box with nothing printed on them. A product can now be saved with no barcode at all — EndoShelf gives it its own code you can print and tape to the bin. Book a whole delivery in one screen instead of one product at a time: More → Bulk delivery. Rooms, at last. More → Places lists every room you have, and lets you rename one, change its code, or switch it off. Before this, a room could be created and never corrected. Set a level for each room, not just the centre, so a shelf that should hold 20 and a shelf that should hold 3 are both right. Something else happened. Throw one away, correct a count, set a box aside and put it back, or clear an expired box — each one recorded for what it is instead of being forced into a receive or a use. Activity now has search, filters, and a share button for what you are looking at. Archive a product your centre does not carry, and bring it back with the Include archived filter. Inventory works without signal. What was on your shelves last time is there to read in a basement with no bars, with the time it was last updated shown at the top. Nothing can be recorded offline — it is read-only on purpose, so two people cannot record the same box twice. Point the camera at a product label and let it read the name and numbers off the box. A barcode EndoShelf does not recognise can become a new product, or be attached to one you already have, right from the Scan screen. A Monday-morning reminder of what your centre is short of. Where the Network tab went: if your centre is not sharing with anybody yet, it is now in More instead of taking a space along the bottom. It comes back by itself as soon as you have a partner. 71 more products, including gauze, gowns, gloves, syringes, airway and cleaning supplies. To add them to your centre, an administrator opens More → Import catalog and runs it once.
