It works

Everything you would need in a rucking app.

Still my favorite

Have used this for the last year. 750+ miles of rucking. It is still my favorite rucking app to date. I tried RuckWell for a month and liked the extra info but it was so buggy I came back to Enduruc. I love that the developer is continually updating and adding features. Things I’d still like: custom/editable tracked categories on the watch app while rucking—though the current layout works well. I’d also like a yearly summary tab in addition to the currently available week, month, and all tabs on the phone app. I like the VO2 max protection, which is why I started using a ruck app in the first place. The holy grail would be VO2 max estimates which would sync with the health app. Suggested adds: custom heart rate zones, current pace. Overall, super excited about the direction of this app and have waited for years for something with this dedication to ruck workouts! Download it and enjoy!

Developer is responsive and works to improve the app.

I have had a few email conversations with the app developer, specifically targeting ways to improve the experience, sometimes in little ways - such as addressing wet sleeves screwing with the watch UI.

If for no other reason than that this app is worthy of your support.

Response from developer

Thanks so much for the kind words — really glad to hear you’re enjoying the weekly summaries and the watch face. VO₂ max improvements are definitely something I’m exploring. If you ever have more feedback or ideas, feel free to reach out at support@intrepidcue.com Thanks!

Perfect Rucking App

Me and my family have taken up rucking as part of our fitness journey. Over the past year the customer service through emails has been what has set this app above all else. The developer will respond to issues that may arise and in all honesty this interaction is necessary as in my opinion we need each other to grow in a positive direction. After this the app works great on the actual iPhone as well as Apple Watch. If the developer reads this I am Robert that was mentioned in a previous update. Thanks again for everything your app is the best and I highly recommend it to anyone logging in miles Rucking!

Nope

Went to record my ruck. NOTHING happened. What a disappointment.

Best Rucking app I’ve tried

I’ve tried ALL of the rucking apps over the last few months and always come back to Enduruc. Simple but effective interface with my Apple Watch and iPhone. I’ve also reached out several times with questions and got a quick response. I like that.

Does what it says and does it well

Title is self explanatory. Install the app, add your extra weight on your Apple Watch and GO!

Perfect

So happy my buddy showed me this today. It’s everything you need. Thank you so much for creating it. I’m going to sign up for a year right now. Awesome.

Beat rucking app

Best rucking app I’ve tried. I wish the time duration of the ruck was a little bigger on the watch — hard to see it at a glance. And I wish the watch showed current pace instead of overall pace. Otherwise, great so far!

Still my favorite

Have used this for the last month to track 60+ miles of rucking. It is still my favorite rucking app to date and I love that the developer is continually updating and adding features—most recently heart rate zones. Things I’d still like: ability to change which metrics are shown on the watch app while rucking—specifically I’d like to see current pace in addition to what is already shown (average pace, time, distance, snd heart rate) And of course the holy grail would be VO2 max estimates which would sync with the health app. Overall, super excited about the direction of this app and have been waiting for years for something with this dedication to ruck workouts! Download it and enjoy!

Awesome

Have logged 25 rucks so far. Multiple weight options are fantastic. Weekly and Monthly summaries are really nice to see. I absolutely love this app. The live average pace and heart rate keep me right where I want to be during a ruck. Am very happy to be a paid annual subscriber. Well done!!!

Easy To Use

I appreciate the ease of using the app and the way information is displayed on my Apple Watch in the format I’m used to: the same or very similar to the native workouts.

Simple and efffective

Have tried some other apps but I like the weekly summaries on this one and the watch face matches the iOS workout look I’m used to. I wanted a specific rucking app to prevent the inaccurate fitness notifications due to unsighted estimates of VO2 max. Would love it if this app was able to add VO2 max estimates that updated in the health app, but for now this is good enough.
