Energy Beehive is a serious game that helps households understand, reflect on, and improve how they use energy. By turning everyday electricity use into shared challenges and cooperative goals, Energy Beehive makes the energy transition tangible, social, and engaging. Players become part of a virtual beehive, where each action contributes to the collective wellbeing of the group. Through short missions, feedback on energy use, and playful visualizations, users explore topics such as self-consumption, peak demand, and flexibility in a way that fits everyday life. Energy Beehive was developed as part of the European RESCHOOL and GAIM research projects and is designed for real-world pilot studies with households and energy communities.
