About

What does energy really cost you? Energy Logbook shows you: one card per energy source with costs, price history and energy index, for LPG, heating oil, pellets, firewood, electricity, natural gas, water and district heating. Most meter apps only remember readings. Energy Logbook works with your money: every delivery and every reading comes with a price, which gives you yearly costs, average cost per month and a price history that shows whether the next delivery will be dearer or cheaper. ONE CARD PER ENERGY SOURCE • LPG, heating oil, pellets and firewood as tanks: deliveries with quantity and price, current fill level, consumption since the start • Electricity, natural gas, water and district heating as meters: readings with a price per unit • This year's total cost at a glance FIGURES THAT MEAN SOMETHING • Cost per year and average cost per month • Price history per energy source as a chart • Energy index in kWh per m² and year with an efficiency class as a guide value from your consumption (using living area and calorific value; not an energy certificate) AUTOMATIC OR BY HAND You can enter everything by hand. If you like, Energy Logbook fetches values automatically: • Home Assistant: pick a sensor from a list, test the connection, done • EcoTracker (everHome): directly over your home network, no cloud • Custom JSON URL for devices such as Shelly or Tasmota Credentials are stored only in your iPhone's Keychain. YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU Energy Logbook has no accounts, no advertising and no tracking. Your entries stay on your device. Data is fetched only from where you set it up. GOOD TO KNOW • 7 days free trial, then a one-time purchase, no subscription. • Automatic fetching needs Home Assistant, an EcoTracker or a device with a local JSON interface, and you must be on the same Wi-Fi network. • You enter prices yourself; Energy Logbook does not provide market prices. • A detailed guide is built in (Settings → Help & guide), in English and German.
