Leider nur Hochformat, Schritt auf ipad pro zu klein, sonst gut
Zuerst mal das positive: Die App bietet einen großen Sprachfundus und gute Beispiele. Das ist schon mal sehr wichtig. Leider fehlen wichtige Einstellungen, z.B ist die Schriftgröße auf dem ipad pro zu kein und die App funktioniert hier nur im Hochformat. Es wäre auch wünschenswert, wenn man optional alle Hörbeispiele herunterladen könnte. Das würde die Benutzung beschleunigen.

I have been using longman dictionary for many years , but after i updated my phone it’s not working anymore , but now i bought this version but hiw can i used offline?

Slow
It becomes very slow in this updated version. I miss the old one….
Most thorough
Best dictionary ever. It gives you do much more than just the meaning. It provide numerous example sentences, collocations and theme/ domain specific vocabulary. Definitely better than any other learners dictionary.
Verb table doesn’t load
It’s a pity that the verb table doesn’t load. Same error message for all verbs.
Where's the Offline Mode?
I've been using this dict for several years. It's been working fine. Since the latest updates, there's no offline mode and super slow. The developer has another app called LMDict, it works great as the old version of this app but without offline mode.
If the LMDict has the Offline Mode, it would be the best app for American English learners.

New Upgrade issue
I love this app and highly recommend it for everyone!!! I’ve been using it for couple of years and it’s just delightful. One year ago I purchased it with no regrets. However after recent upgrade the app works very slow and sometimes even can’t find common using words. Hopefully this issue can be fixed. The reason I gave 3 stars now is because of app’s bug. But previous version is definitely 10 out of 5, and hopefully corrected one will be as great as previous.

Best turns worst
It used to be best dictionary I have ever used. After being updated a few weeks ago, the best dictionary seemed to turn worst. It takes forever to load the definition even you are on strong Wi-Fi at home. It pisses me a lot and I will definitely stop using and uninstall it provided this issue is handled.

I upadated this app and now it’s too slow! Please fix it. It’s unusable with this new update.

Words lost after the update of the dictionary
I cannot find the emails or any contact of the app developers so I have to come here to provide my question.
I have used the dictionary on a daily basis for a long time. I haven’t got any too bad experiences with using it. But I found that the app has been updated to a newer version automatically when I started the app this morning. Then I checked the words/phrases that I added to “my favorite” and found nothing is there. It took me over one year to accumulate the words, but now they are all gone.
I wonder do you have some ways to retrieve the words? I am looking forward to hearing back from you as soon as possible. Thanks.
