Hilariously bad
I used a screen shot from a forum using the most legible text possible, i simply wanted a url. Almost every character is wrong, mistaking https as mpszl. Don’t bother with it.

Got mostly gibberish
Just cannot get this app to work.
It takes photo then does nothing.
If I use an image from my library - still nothing happens.

Not accurate- requires user framing text to function
It is highly inaccurate without a well cropped frame, requiring user intervention to get 90% accuracy.

Total rubbish
Tried this as an alternative to Rocketbook app. Also tried on plain paper. It created total gibberish. Rocketbook worked far better. Avoid

Does a great job with OCR. Very fast and easy to copy the text or email it.
A robust friendly OCR app
The app is easy to use and has been spot on when it comes to extracting a wide range of text even against different backgrounds. I've been using the free version and am now considering upgrading to the pro version.

Brilliant - Easy - Flawless

Easy to use and OCR is pretty accurate in good light. Let's you copy to clipboard.
Unreliable
Processed the first OCR (3 short words) with ease but could not cope with a paragraph or images - just produced illegible rubbish. Deleted this app. It seems like no real effort was put in to making this app reliable.

Does not recognize any text properly. Garbage.
Good start.
Not too bad. I use it to scan small sections of text only pages. The text is copied and pasted into my Margins app. The cropping tool seems to work well. I capture the image with my iPhone camera so the sharper and brighter the better. If the rendered text is not that great simply take another photo and try again. Processing times seemed reasonable.
Three suggestions: recognize italic text, be able to rotate images into landscape for easier cropping, rejoin hyphenated words at line endings.
Otherwise; good start.
