You can't just type in a phrase that you want translated. You're stuck with the phrases they have already.

...seriously? You have to scroll through these alphabetically among phrases that might be useful. I sent an email asking for my $ 0.99 back!

Stopped working....
Great idea but stopped working within first few minutes of use. Dont bother!!!

I have had no problems with bugs from this app. I absolutely love it !!! The audio is clear and you see the translation in Italian as well.

I got this app for a trip to Italy, the phrases are useless as not the kind you would actually use in a conversation, also they were all in the wrong category's , and the most annoying feature was as soon as I got to Italy the app DID NOT WORK!!!Useless do not buy .

This app works perfectly, even offline. Any questions are answered PROMPTLY on line. One of the very best . I LOVE LOVE this app...no problems, no freeze ups.....top notch.

English to Italian translator
Just bought this in readiness for a trip to Rome. Seems really good, easy to use, and the voice is human not a computer! The voice is a gr8 way of teaching you how to say the word or phrase, then you are able to pronounce it correctly when you need to use it. I like the fact that i can save all the words or phrases in "favourites" for quick easy access. Appears to have all phrases and words I'll need. Let's hope it's just as good while I'm away?!!

Seems like a good app. As long as you just need some preset phrases this is a real good option to use alongside a dictionary. No network connection needed either.
Notca bad app but.......
Wasn't really what I expected . Thought I'd be able to type words & phrases I wanted translated also . Plus I'm having the same lock up problem when saving favorites . Have to shut iPhone completely off /on to reset or phn stays locked .

This did not crash on me. It seems to work as stated allows you to create a favorites list a very handy feature. The sound quality is clear and good - In short it works for me.
Not Ready to Release - Too Many Bugs
I have the latest release and like the addition of the favorites, but the overall functioning of this app is VERY buggy. My wife downloaded the same app on her iPhone and has exactly the same problems. 1st, it stalls for a full 15 sec or more when you open the app. Then when you select a phrase to save to favorites, it presents an OK button to confirm, but stalls and you have to close and reopen the app to start all over again. There are many other instances where the app locks up and stalls. The voice is clear and easy to understand and if it operated as it is described I would give it 5 stars, but as off now it is just a little better than useless. Sorry, about the poor review, but in most businesses if you sold something as defective as this right out of the box as this you'd be out of business in no time not to mention misreprenting the product and ripping off the customer.
