Consistent Local Upscaling Performance
I’ve been using UScale, formerly known as UpScale, as my go-to offline photo upscaler for quite some time now. It’s particularly useful when I don’t want to make any edits or have already completed my editing and simply need a higher resolution. I started using this iOS app back in October 2025 via Reddit, when it became available for free for life for a short period, and it has consistently met my expectations.
From time to time, I’ve encountered a situation where I come across a trial limit notification. After I manually select the ‘restore purchase’ option, the app updates to show the message ‘Your Pro is active.’ This experience has been a bit inconsistent, as it seems to resolve the trial limit issue, but it would be great if this process were smoother and more reliable.
UScale stands out as the perfect solution for enhancing and upscaling both photos and videos with professional quality. The advanced local AI technology it employs truly delivers stunning results, and I appreciate the assurance that my data remains completely private throughout the process. Overall, UScale has proven to be an invaluable tool in my photography workflow.

The problem has now been fixed on our side, so you don’t need to update the app. Please try again. Upscaling should work normally now.
