Great app… but one small and obvious thing….
The app is amazing. Well thought out and clean, but why doesn’t it have a menu bar option at the top to keep it front and center as we work? The programmer is clearly very skilled and talented…. How did this one fall through the cracks? (Hint hint!)

Doesn't work with TX-NR7100
I know they didn't list it as working but there was a review of it working with the 6100 so I took a chance.

Much better and faster than Onkyo’s
Just installed the app and it immediately connected to my Onkyo TX-NR6100. Works much better and faster than the Onkyo Controller app.
I was this close to buy an WiiM Ultra streamer due to all the frustration with the original controller. Given that the Onkyo’s AVR streaming support is pretty good and this app seems to resolve the issues with the original controller, I might just reconsider adding another streaming device.

Great App
Great, simple, uncomplicated and it works, which is more than can be said for then Denon apps
Excellent. Dec 2024 - M3 MacBook Pro / Sequoia 15.2 / Onkyo TX7100
This app found the receiver quickly. I tested BD, FM, GAME, NET and Phono inputs. Controls for volume, listening mode, speaker control, zones all work much quicker than Iphone app. My Auralic Aries Music Server found and able to browse the collection. The app identified a Firmware upgrade for the Onkyo.

Tolle App! Man findet in ihr alles was man braucht. Von Gerätedaten über Einstellungen bist zum endgültigen Bedienen. Klasse!
Ich würde gerne mehr Sterne vergeben, wenn ich die App mit meinem Marantz AVR NR1711 verbinden könnte. Leider finde ich über den Support nichts darüber. Vielleicht kann mir dazu geholfen werden. Wenn es dann funktioniert, vergebe ich gerne 5 Sterne

App can’t differentiate between two DENON AVRs
Yesterday (purchase date) the app would display correct friendly names for my two DENON AVRs and one Onkyo AVR. But today it incorrectly assigns one name to both Denon’s Deleted app and reinstalled. Same problem. The AVR units are correctly named but the APP can’t seem to sort it out. What changed? I don’t know but it’s frustrating.
FOLLOW UP - I’ve done everything I can think to do but the app continues to overwrite the Friendly name for one of my AVRs with the wrong name (the name
for my second DENON). I wasted too much time on this. Still frustrating.

Good Idea
App did not work with Onyko TX-RZ630. It makes me sad because the Onyko app is horrible.

App ist besser als die meisten Herstellerapps.
Es gibt aber noch grosses Potential zum Ausbau, was man im Jahr 2024 schon erwartet für eine Bezahlapp. Man braucht halt weiterhin die Fernbedienung.
—> Lieber Entwickler bitte an folgenden Dingen arbeiten:
1. für onkyo rz70 sind nicht alle Soundmodi des AVR verfügbar; es fehlt komplett Auromukd Auro 3D
2. Man keine Dirac Slots auswählen, die man nutzen möchte (gespeicherte Dirackurven)
3. Audisteuerung:
a) Es sollten alle Boxenkanäle einstellbar sein inkl. Sub
b) es fehlt die Einstellmöglichkeit für Vocal
4. Zone 2, 3 usw. überhaupt nicht steuerbar
5. Angeschlossene CEC Geräte sollten auch steuerbar sein
6. Sleeptimer müsste man einstellen können

Very efficient
Works perfectyly, very usefull, allow to setup most of the main settings remotly. I'm using it to control an ONKYO TX-RZ900.
Great piece of software
The user interface is very customizable by the user : you can select sources, listen modes... you use and hide all others.
The app only miss the support of the trackpad to scroll in list/screens. If you are stuck : click and scroll to move upper/lower in lists. Hope this last point will be fixed.

Didn’t work for me
Was hoping to connect this to my Marantz SR5007 as I hate the Marantz app. Couldn’t get it to find my receiver even entering the MAC address directly. Perhaps it was a port issue or user error on my part.
Denon AVR-X1600H
I understand that this model is not on a list of supported models but I thought there is no reason why it shouldn’t work and took a chance. It doesn’t work. It connects but all the controls are disabled so pretty much useless.

This app can find my ONKYO TX-NR646
Unlike the ONKYO app (Remote3) that would only work after unplugging and plugging stereo back in, this app seems to work! And there’s no more waiting for the app to sync to the stereo in order to control it. When I input the ip address I was deleting the (optional) port # and it would never connect. I used the default (optional) port # and it worked.

Super App, die jeden Cent wert ist. In der aktuellen Version ist das Bedienelement Mix/Random-Play am unteren Rand in vertikaler Ausrichtung des iPhone leider etwas zu weit nach rechts „gerutscht“.

I feel like I have a brand new receiver even though it’s 7 years old. It showed me several sound mode options I didn’t even new I had. And to be able to change bass, sub level, treble etc without having to go through multiple menus is priceless. Best app for my Onkyo receiver EVER! THANK YOU to the developers! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This app allows me to control my old Onkyo TX-NR545 amp remotely from my mac, which is a life saver. Thanks for keeping this app alive.

Well, work for a while but now will not play Amazom
worked great for a month now Error message appears when trying to play Amazon Music...must update the app to use Amazon Music. So now it is currently usless to me and developer has not responed to my email.
