What is that green blob on my photo of the Buck Moon
Thank you Enigma, for the opportunity to share my puzzle, firstly I thought I had problems with insects while trying to get a clean shot of the Buck Moon. But the ‘insect’ only showed on my screen dancing about near the shot of the still moon. On magnification, it was a definite circle and not an insect. Not a balloon either, it did not have a tethered balloon shape but moved like an insect about the moon.

This app, despite having not put in my financial information, has charged me $37 despite not having opened the app at all yet. The app showed up as free to download. This needs to be taken down.

Unfortunately the app froze within 5 minutes of opening it for the first time, and all I got to see was a meteor.

This app isn’t trying to convince you of anything. It’s a data aggregator. Real people, you and I, report what we see, and it gets stored in a database that anyone can access and map out.
It’s not scientific, but it’s credible, because it’s not coming from a single source. It’s coming from clusters of reports, same day, same area.
Honestly, I wish this app existed a decade ago.
And the push notifications for sightings near me? That’s the part I love most. It actually gets you to look up instead of walking around on autopilot.
