Brilliant piece of kit! Only issue is my memory for remembering the password to get in!!
The app freezes when adding a new login
Any time I register/login into a new website and tap on the option to save the password in Enpass, a blank Enpass overlay screen appears on top of Safari, but then it freezes and the only option is to force-quit Safari. The new login information never gets saved in Enapass, and the browser does not log me in either despite me having clicked on login (because I guess Enpass intercepted that login action just before it freezes…). It happens on any new website I try to save the information for.

Please stop asking for the master password when I’ve already turned off the reminder.
I have several devices, some with no biometrics, so minimizing how often I have to type my master password is imperative. I literally do not need a “reminder.”

Home Page
I do not like having to change from the home page every time I want to look up a password. Why not make setting one’s start page an option in settings?

Great for privacy
Been using Enpass for years and I love it. The best feature IMO is it allows you to store your passwords on any personal cloud drive or even local server, so you don’t have to trust one random company with your most critical and sensitive data, or pay some subscription. Great native apps for iPhone, Linux, and Windows unifies my passwords across everything I use. Rare to have good software you can just buy and use these days.

Good Grief - why a home page?
When I open up the app, I'm looking for a password, not a homepage of meaningless info. C'mon. Do you people use the app you develop?
Counterproductive Security Changes
I used to recommend Enpass to everyone - cross platform, solid encryption, synced across devices, good autofill. What’s not to like. Then they instituted a constant demand to prove that you remember the master password across devices. What this does is actually decrease security, as it forces me to develop an easy to remember, easy to type/swipe password so that I can get rid of the constant time-suck of having to answer whether or not I remember my Master password or just continue to autofill. The other change is that if I don’t first go through all that noise in my browser extension, I have to click a blue Enpass icon in the login menu, click that I do in fact want to use Enpass auto-login and then get the opportunity to enter a PIN to use Enpass. Wouldn’t the fact that I clicked on the blue Enpass icon in the first place be enough indication that I want to use Enpass? The app has become a massive, distracting time suck instead of a security-boosting time-saver.

Surprising very good!
Hadn’t heard of Enpass before, but it’s an incredibly well done password manager with lots of features and templates and a simple to use interface. I’ve found that managers are either simple with few features or complicated with many - Enpass has managed to combine the best of both. As someone who wanted a locally hosted password manager with a clean, polished UI, this is great. It would be great however if there were advanced options to change the encryption types such as to use xChaCha for example.

Unwanted design changes
I was a fan of Enpass, but it’s getting annoying with all design changes THAT ARE NOT OPTIONAL. Now, every time that I use the app, I’m forced to the “Home” screen. No, thank you. My score is 100, and I’m already a paying customer. Don’t need this information on every launch. The iOS app was great (not like the Mac one, that keeps collapsing notes and it’s not designed for liquid glass). And now is adding an unnecessary level of friction. ADD A SETTING so the customers can choose where to start.

Starting to get buggy
I’ve been using Enpass for years as my go-to password vault. It has been simple and easy to use.
Sadly, over the past 6-9 months the software is starting to show its age and several bugs are starting to show up.
- Face ID access to the vault randomly turns itself off
- An incredibly annoying reminder to verify your master password keeps turning itself back on
- the checking of password strength is a bit of a joke
If you are looking for a password vault then this software is still fine, but there are definitely better options out there.

Excellent
Moved to Enpass from 1Passwoes and bought a lifetime subscription when they were stilll on offer. Haven’t regretted it. I wish Enpass would still do that as I’d recommend it to all my family and friends, but it’s still better value than 1Password.
