App needs major overhaul
I waited over 30 mins from my selected pickup time for my food because the receiving computer at the pickup location didn’t process my order, which I placed on the Ensemble app. This is completely unacceptable. While I like the food and the ability to order from multiple kitchens, it’s ridiculous that orders get lost in the system.

Needs notifications
Great app interface but needs to be able to have notifications to let you know about order updates and when it becomes ready, or at least a way to refresh the order status. I had to keep closing the app and reopening it to wait for the order to be ready to get the code.
Food is Great, App is Okay
Best bbq, in Bethesda. The moist brisket, ribs, and pulled pork are consistently great. There’s a few things you have to know about the app, 1) the tracking system for when your food is ready is buggy - it doesn’t always show when your food is ready. I just pick up my food at the estimated pickup time. 2) This leads to the second issue that the app doesn’t always clear when you receive your food, thus you have to delete and reinstall. 3) some of the food options don’t work so well, I used to get the two meat combo but now it only lets you get pulled pork and chicken; instead having the other options available. My wife likes the pizza but we’ll miss the Ted’s bulletin for breakfast items.

Amazing idea and food!
Big fan of the customization
I ordered dinner for my wife and kids and picked it up. Sort of blown away by how easy the process was. Locker popped open and my food was all ready. Custom ordering on the app is legit. They need this in McLean and Arlington next!
