so basically my dad has tried this app and has tried to scan stuff everything pretty much works except for the most important thing which is the view it doesn’t work! My dad tried it he said all that came out was unfinished sentences and random numbers and symbols! if you fix it I will be more pleased with this app

This app helps me with my day today, different obstacles that pop up with being blind. I am so glad you guys offer this app and the majority of it is free which makes it might go to every single time!

Finding objects
The finding objects feature works wonderfully. The only problem is, yes, I did play around with it and yes, I knew that the object that I wanted to find was in front of me. It on the other hand did not it did not process and therefore it did not tell me that the object was there. That concerns me. Because if people were trying to find a backpack, and if they were in a hurry, it wouldn’t tell them. This is a real downfall of the app.

Unable to read soft copy of PDFs on envision AI.
Hello all!
I am Pranil more; person with visual impairment. During these days, I am facing some issues while reading a soft copy of PDFS on I phone with voice over without any app; hence I tried to use envision AI as an alternative method.
However, I regret to bring to your notice that, even despite using “rescan” option in said app, same almost destroys an original content of PDF, which becomes weird to listen to any soft copy of PDF. For E.G.: for word “customer”, it reads “mer”, for word “sanction”; it reads “senction” And so on.
Few of these are just an example, however, it almost makes all the PDF content messy and irritating; specially a soft copies.
Kindly look in to this and work on it.
Secondly, unable to read PDFs through simple on finger swipe, I have to read the same by moving here and their to check whether any content got missed.
Kindly note the same and do the needful.

Ich mochte die App anfangs gerne. Auch, weil es immer gut ist, Alternativen zu haben. Der Fokus auf KI und das völlige Desinteresse an der Richtigkeit der Beschreibungen und zweifelhafte Handelspraktiken lassen mich die Apps von Envision leider deinstallieren. Schade, denn ich war Kunde der ersten Stunde.

Useless
Even though I have a high quality iPhone, every time the app tries to scan text it is blurry on the screen. No idea why it can’t focus the camera. But consequently the app just spits out nonsense words.

No. Robot voices. Endless loop repeat of text - you have to push start button to make it stop before moving to another piece of text. Random different languages intermixed with English.

Aplicativo bom desenvolvido para o cego porém deixa a desejar quando vai compartilhar foto ou outro arquivo vídeo seja lá como for ele entra em conflito com o VoiceOver prejudicando o próprio cego poderia ser melhor

Aplikacja nie opisuje zdjęć, obrazów… za każdym razem pojawia się komunikat „Nie można wygenerować napisów”… Zatem aplikacja jest bez użyteczna w tym zakresie.

Una copia mal riuscita di Seeing AI e Be My Eyes
Francamente non capisco come questa app potesse un tempo essere addirittura a pagamento. Offre alcune funzioni che si trovano già gratuitamente in altre app, come Be My Eyes e Seeing AI, ma qui risultano praticamente inutilizzabili perché malfunzionanti.
Ad esempio, la funzione di riconoscimento del testo è imbarazzante: sia in modalità “al volo” che tramite analisi di un’immagine scattata con la fotocamera, il risultato è un’accozzaglia di caratteri senza senso. Ho provato con una ricevuta fiscale: con questa app non ho ottenuto nulla di leggibile, mentre con Seeing AI ho avuto una lettura perfetta, con tanto di tabella chiara e dettagliata, completa di intestazioni, beni acquistati, aliquota IVA, costi unitari, totali e metodo di pagamento.
Anche la funzione di riconoscimento immagini basata su intelligenza artificiale è deludente: descrizioni scarne, vaghe e piene di errori. Al contrario, con Be My Eyes (alimentato da ChatGPT) ho ricevuto descrizioni precise, ricche di dettagli e davvero utili.
Non so se la situazione attuale sia dovuta al fatto che, una volta diventata gratuita, l’app sia stata abbandonata o comunque poco curata. Non l’avevo mai provata quando era a pagamento, ma allo stato attuale, purtroppo, non ha alcun senso di esistere.
