About
Ephemeris Dashboard is a powerful, open-source Swiss Ephemeris calculator for astronomers, astrologers, and researchers. It provides precise
planetary positions, house cusps, ayanamsa values, and fixed star data — all computed from the industry-standard Swiss Ephemeris library.
FEATURES
• Planetary Positions — Sun through Pluto, plus lunar nodes, Lilith, Chiron, and more. Ecliptic longitude, latitude, distance, and speed for
any date in history or the future.
• House Systems — Placidus, Koch, Equal, Whole Sign, Regiomontanus, Campanus, Porphyry, and many more. Cusps and angles (ASC/MC/ARMC/Vertex)
computed for any location.
• Ayanamsa — Lahiri, Raman, Krishnamurti, Fagan-Bradley, and 30+ additional ayanamsa systems for sidereal calculations.
• Fixed Stars — Complete Sefstars catalog with positions and metadata.
• Flexible Input — Set date/time, geographic coordinates, and altitude. Choose tropical or sidereal zodiac, geocentric or topocentric,
heliocentric or barycentric frames.
• Display Formats — View results in degrees-minutes-seconds, decimal degrees, or raw values.
• Multiple Themes — Dark and light color schemes.
• Export — Save calculation results for your records.
• No Interpretation — Pure astronomical values. No horoscope readings, no AI-generated meanings. Just the numbers.
• No Data Collection — Your privacy is absolute. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. Everything runs locally on your device.
• Open Source — Licensed under AGPL-3.0. Inspect the code, verify the calculations, contribute improvements.
Built on the Swiss Ephemeris (swisseph), the same engine trusted by professional astrologers and astronomers worldwide for over 25 years. When
ephemeris data files are available, positions are computed to sub-arcsecond precision. A built-in Moshier analytical fallback ensures the app
works even without data files.

What's New in Ephemeris Dashboard
2.1
August 22, 2026
New in v2.1 - Sign names. Longitudes now name their zodiac sign, with tropical and Aditya naming schemes. - True sidereal ayanamsa. A 13-sign, constellation-based sidereal zodiac, with its own constellational sign names. - Stars in the ephemeris manager. Search SIMBAD by name and add new stars to the fixed-star catalogue. - JPL Horizons tab. Query NASA/JPL Horizons directly for observer, vector, and orbital-element ephemerides and SPK files, with a parsed table view and CSV export.
