Love game but important question

After current update it gave choices on Official Top Up or Apple in-app purchases. I chose the Apple one but i didnโ€™t get my items. Spend $700 on items and have done it a lot so didnโ€™t think to slow down and make sure it went through. My game was bound with Facebook. Is it safe to unbind from Facebook and then bind with Apple. My fear is losing everything since when i try to unbind it says in red confirm to delete this account. Please advise how to get my items i paid for.

Was looking forward to trying this game but it never lets me enter the game and just says network error disconnected from server. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and no luck.
