misleading advertisement BEWARE

I subscribed to EpicTok after seeing advertisements in Instagram that featured engaging historical videos and documentaries. The ads gave the impression that I would have access to a large library of video content. However, after paying for the service, I found that ALLL of the content was audio-based rather than video, like an Audiobook.

I felt misled. The app I paid differed significantly from what was promoted.

Scam

Please read all the reviews. This app is a scam. I signed up for a year. They will probably reply here and say to reach to them directly which I did. Still no response. Don't fall for it. Is crazy that apple is letting this people do this

Seems to be an audio book on tape scam

After paying I am realizing this app misrepresents itself and does not have animated history or stories. It’s a book on tape with a single picture for each chapter, no animation.

I don’t see any place to cancel my subscription. There’s no trial to really know what the product does other than the misleading Facebook ads that make it seem like animated storytelling. I can’t find other stories either… just one big book of chapters, an audio book.

I can only hope they refund my money and not try to charge me annually for their audio books.

scam, get out

Completely different from Instagram, very few episodes, only podcasts, no videos. A scam. Sell different content than announced.

No anúncio é algo ilustrado, animado. Na prática é um áudio book em inglês, com uma foto de fundo. Péssimo. Ótima forma de enganar e ganhar dinheiro.

Cuidado é golpe

Não funciona,fiz uma compra de 9,90 não confirmei a assinatura e agora veio outra fatura pelo cartão e não tenho o caminho para cancelar ou reclamar. Funcionou 2 dias e o conteudo é minimo.

Não consigo acessar e fizeram duas cobranças

O App não me dá acesso e me cobrou uma segunda compra de 20.99 dólares, sendo que eu só tinha feito uma de 9,99 dólares e nem tive acesso ao aplicativo

False advertising

This app is nothing like what they promote on social media. It’s pretty much a single image with boring narration. Avoid this at all cost.

This site is a scam.

I would give it Zero stars if I could. Does not work as advertised. A complete scam. Could not sign in to create an account. I assumed, wrongly, that Apple vetted Apps in their store. Very disappointed in Apple for letting this App in the App Store. Don’t waste your time and your money on Epictok. I filled a formal complaint with Apple, still waiting for a response.

All advertisements on this app shows video of history. But there’s no video at all!!
