The best TV Time alternative by FARR
I’ve tried a ton of tracking apps after the TV Time shut down and this is by far the best one in terms of UI. Really cute and fun and easy to use + the devs are super active

Was genuinely devastated about TV Time shutting down but somehow instantly ended up liking Episoda even more. The app is so clean and cute and easy to use, also importing everything was so easy. Love that it feels like it was designed by people who actually use it themselves. Been recommending it to all my friends bc I honestly can’t imagine going back to anything else now!!

okay Episoda is genuinely one of the coolest apps i’ve discovered in a minute 😭📺✨ Tracking episodes, obsessing over shows, seeing what everyone’s watching, rating things in real time… i’m so seated.
What makes it even better is that the creators actually care. Like you can feel that this wasn’t built by people chasing engagement metrics but by people who are obsessed with television and wanted to create a space for other obsessives. they listen to the community, interact with users, and it really feels like we’re all building this thing together.
Anyway i’m officially an Episoda evangelist now. if you’re chronically online, watch too much television, and love making lists and ratings for literally everything, get on here immediately. the vibes are immaculate. 🍿⭐️🫶

The TV Time alternative you’re looking for.
I’ve been loving this app so far. Very clean UI. They also added a way to import your watch history over from tv time. Hands down the coolest part about it though is just how active the devs are. They appreciate feedback and will actually respond to it. Good stuff.

Small problem
Hi I’m rating it five stars I recently downloaded it and have shared it with several friends and they are downloading it, but I do have one slight issue no matter what I do I can’t click the log button for the mass log feature I can add the ten titles rate them put reviews but the log button is stuck behind the bottom home search and profile buttons and is not clickable I would love this feature as I’m trying to move all of my collected data from my Google spread sheet over to the app… other then that the app is wonderful and I love it!!! :) can’t wait to see where it goes.

Literally so obsessed
I absolutely love this app!! it’s letting me document and try. All of the different shows that I love kind of lied and hated. One of the things that I love the most about it is that the interface is super clean organized, and easy to use! I’ve already texted all my friends that they have to get on it because I’m so obsessed with it and I can’t wait to use it for years to come!!!!

A party in a pretty house with no guests
Without creating a network effect, platform apps like this are useless. The idea that we can share what we watch with our friends is highly flawed. On similar apps, less than 5% of users follow their real friends. If you do the research you’ll discover that most adults aren’t honest about how much TV they watch. They don’t want their friends to know they watch a lot of TV.

The way EPISODA is encouraging me to engage with my writing skills in an observable, succinct, and compelling way???? I always loved school and analysis and rhetorical critiques in regard to media and culture… and having a space to discuss my thoughts in a casual way that also feels elevated and community oriented is so FUN AND BEAUTIFUL.

As an introvert/homebody with a chronic illness, this is such an incredible invention. A way to socialize and connect with my introverted friends through TV! Beyond that the design is beautiful and the interface is easy to use. And female founded? Slay. THANK YOU for making an app I’ll actually use that won’t result in doom scrolling

I have been DYING for a TV-equivalent of Letterboxd, as someone who watches way more TV than I do movies. Not to say that this is a replication of Letterboxd, because it’s distinctly different, but still a system for logging what I’ve watched. And even more! I can actually engage with my friends over shared shows/episodes. plus I think the design is sooo fun. easy to use, pretty to look at. I see this being a huge hit and a genius invention.

My best friend and I always were looking for an app to stay updated on what our friends were watching and log our thoughts on each episode…. So we made Episoda! It’s my fave app ever but I MIGHT be biased…..😃
