Your bank shows you a balance. It doesn't tell you how much of it is already spoken for.
eply does that one calculation. Rent, subscriptions, the bill due Thursday, the salary that lands on the 5th: subtract all of it, protect the cushion you don't want to touch, divide what's left by the days ahead.
One number. What you can spend today without regretting it.
Safe to spend, per day
Recalculated every time you add a transaction, a bill, or expected income. No envelopes to maintain, no categories to set up before you can start. Home shows how much you've spent today and how much is left. A widget shows what you can spend today on your Home Screen and Lock Screen, so you don't have to open the app. The medium size also has a button for adding an expense.
Check a purchase before you make it
Type in an amount and see what it does to the rest of the month. Sometimes the answer is "you can, but it gets tighter", which is more useful than yes or no.
A protected cushion
Money you set aside stops counting as spendable. Your safety net isn't part of the daily number, so you don't spend it by accident.
Bills that come every month
Rent, subscriptions, salary: set them to repeat and they're counted before they happen. If something was due and you haven't marked it, eply can remind you in the evening.
Entry that stays out of the way
An amount, a category, done. There's a calculator in the keypad, because groceries never come to a round number. Your history is there when you want it, but the app opens on what's coming, not on what already happened.
Statistics by month
Each month by day and by category, next to the month before.
Limits by category
Give a category a limit, say eating out, and see how much is left for it each day. A limit doesn't block anything, and your daily number stays the same.
Credit cards
Add a card with its limit, statement day and due day.
Loans
Add a loan with its monthly payment. Safe to spend counts only that payment, not the whole debt, and Statistics shows your payments under Loans.
Deposits
Add a deposit with its rate and term. eply estimates the interest and shows when it's paid and when the deposit ends.
Accounts in any currency
Cash, cards, bank accounts, deposits, credit. Transfers between currencies at a rate you can override, with the fee if there was one. Balances add up into one total.
An account, if you want one
You can start without signing up, and there's no bank connection to set up. Sign in with Apple, Google or email whenever you like: eply keeps an encrypted copy of your data in your account, and a new phone gets everything back. The app opens with a PIN or Face ID. Without an account, you can still export a backup file.
Free, and no ads.
I built eply because I kept opening my banking app before buying something and still not knowing the answer. If the number it gives you is wrong, tell me. The contact options are in Settings.
