Great band very poor app
PS100 is great. Maybe the heart rate monitor should come on every 10 minutes and on constantly when in exercise mode. Unfortunately the app is poor. It's slow and doesn't give much information. Why not listen to you customers and connect with health app, Strava and My Fitness Pal??? Wouldn't buy another one of this broke unless my issues were resolved. Shame as band is really good. Looks like Epson never reply to their customers questions either. Poor customer service.

Love it
The heart rate monitor is fantastic I often compare it when on a running machine and it’s always roughly the same reading, the app is really good I have been using it for a few years now,
Mr
After this update app keeps on crashing. Pulsense failed to scene-update in time.
Nice device not so nice app!
The app is so slow, it's frustrating! It takes forever to sync with my smart band (I have the Pulsense100) sometimes it looks like it didn't record any data then I come back 30min later and it's there!
Another downside is that it doesn't communicate with my Health App, or any other apps exempt for MapMyFitness which I don't usually use! The only way to see information about your performances is through this app!
The design is slightly retro, it looks very basic! Doesn't reflect the coolness of the Pulsense100!
I hope it will be upgraded soon!

Great item but when can I expect functionality with my iPhone 6s?
PS-500
Exactly what I wanted wish the app would interface with iHealth like my scale, BP monitor ect, probably in due time when the SF-850PW comes to market. Sleep cycle cannot tell when your reading in bed but still serves the purpose especially for just entering a wareable market.
Could be better
Can Epson not sync this device to health app, like sleep tracker and resting HR.. Less quality devices do just that..if it could connect with health kit for steps and flight, the value will rise drastically.
Col
Epson pulsense, never heard of it, neither had I but it is utterly brilliant.
I have the pulsense 500 which I bought 6 months ago and it is ace.
The constant pulse is accurate and the sleep monitor accurately reflects how I have slept.
Forgot Fitbit get a pulsense and this app is equally impressive.

Clowns
The app no longer pairs with a ps-100 correctly. The previous version was fine but this new update just doesn't work, and all it does it give you unhelpful error messages and implies that it's somehow your fault that it can't 'see' the device even though it shows up on the pair list. Utter rubbish.
Food
Difficult to enter food. Is it not possible to connect to Myfitnesspal? Is it not the same company as mapmyfitness?
Pulsence app
The watch works fine and pairs with my phone easily, to use in other apps as a HR monitor. But I have given up trying to connect phone to the pulsence app. I managed to get it to connect twice since last September. Once on my old iPhone 5 and once on my iPhone 6s. Great watch severely let down by the app

Does what it says on the tin
Whilst the app does what it says, it is somewhat sower than I expect for modern a day app. It can have trouble pairing, even though the smartphone or other may be sitting directly adjacent to the wristband. Instruction on using the app have to be found, there is nothing to tell you where they are but when found I would rate them 4 out of 5.

Love it when it works but hate loosing data
Love it when it works but hate loosing data every time I update the app or switch to a new phone after upgrade!!!
What is the point of tracking all my health data with this app if it's going to delete everything when I am forced to repair after app update or when I switch to a new phone. Further more what is the point of me keeping the ps-500 if I am loosing months of my data with every update. Great looking watch. But lousy sync and backup feature makes it not worth owning

would be a lot better paired with my fitness pal
PS-500 is great but pulsense can’t sync apple health
pros: PS-500 supports standard bluetooth 4.0 transmission, easily to pair with 3rd party running app. And its accuracy is acceptable.
cons: Can’t sync Apple health while sync to Pulsense

Post the firmware update all connectivity has been lost
It's either the iOS update or the firmware update, but either way, my phone won't talk to the band any more. The app was pretty poor to start with, but at least it worked. Sadly no longer. Should have waited for the Fitbit charge HR.
LOVE IT
I just love it!
App needs to do more with the data the watch gathers
As others have said the hardware is great, and the app includes some nice high-level graphics, but allows no other ways of using the mass of data the band gathers. It really needs:
- integration with Apple health app
- zoom in further than an hour by hour view (eg. On a specific workout minute-by-minute)

Slow start but high potential
Month 2 with the device and app. Was Very excited about the possibilities but have lost faith. Measurements are all accurate. I was so excited about the device. I still am except for 2 major problems. Complaint 1 - the speed in connecting the device to my phone. It takes forever. And I have an Apple 5. Complaint 2 - The charger is rubbish. I exchanged my first device as I thought it had a fault. But the second one is the same. The unit never aligns to the silver pins. I can't charge it. Please change it for a small plug in charger like the small apple pins.

Great hardware, DREADFUL app!
Very very pleased with the 100 model. The hardware is very clever and innovative. The app however is dreadful, and lets the product down badly. 1) iPhone only version. Needs an iPad app. 2) My phone is windows, no support for that 3) No integration with other tools eg myfitness pal, weightwatchers, etc. 4) no insight into what the graphs actually mean.
Although the Fitbit hardware is nowhere near as good, their apps are multi platform and well integrated and compatible with other apps. The poor app will kill off take up of this great band.
