Awesome App for managing my horses and clients

The app allows us to store information about the horses: documents, treatments, appointments- farrier, vet etc.

It allowed me to manage horse training, lessons etc with complete visibility to my horse owners.

Great Tool for Equine Management

EquestFile is an extremely valuable tool that we use regularly in managing the care of the 61 horses at our horse rescue ranch. It is so very helpful to have medication schedules, farrier schedules, health care records, and more available at all times whether on the phones of our barn staff or on the pc’s in our office. Special mention needs to made of the fast and always helpful support available!

Great App with great customer service

This app has helped me run my 40+ horse barn and manage lessons, tasks, shows, training, medications, and pretty much everything! My horse owners love to be able to login and see when their horse is getting ridden and how the ride goes. I love that I can also add medications and keep track of feeding and treatments. There are some bugs in the app but whenever I’ve had issues the support team answers within hours which is super helpful. I’d love to be able to do employee hours on here as well and maybe even an invoicing service...? These would be great additions to the app in the future.

Hi, TPRA for your helpful review! Extremely glad EquestFile is an asset to your your barn family. We are about to release a new series of reports. These reports will list the tasks done by horse or person. They should really help you to keep track of what the employees have been doing over a specific timeframe (hours can be documented) as well as horse activity. Invoicing is a feature we are working on. Always keep those suggestions coming. We love hearing what our customers want next.

Never could get logged in due to a bug in the app

Hi, 2ptdoe...yes, there was a bug in your particular app. When you emailed us and wanted to cancel because you had not been able to log in we worked on it as well and found a bug. We reported it to the tech team to work on. We also gave you instructions on how to log into your desktop and work from there while we fixed your mobile application. We didn't ask you to log into the app to cancel your subscription. We told you that as you had signed up through the app store you would have to go through the app store to cancel. Then, we provided you the steps on how to go to the app store and cancel your subscription. When a person signs up for a software product through the app store, the company that has the software product has no ability to adjust or cancel the product. It all has to be done from the app store. We regret you had trouble with logging into your app. We strive to make EquestFile a valuable and useful service for our horse owners. The support team is always here and wants to know any issues anyone is having so we can address and fix.

A unique app designed for horse people to be able to organize & log barn information easily. Would recommend to any barn needing a better solution to logging their data.

Great Communication Tool

LOVE EquestFile!

Seriously, everyone should subscribe to this service. I can’t begin to explain how much easier it has made my life. Gone are the days of misplacing coggins, hunting down when my horses received which vaccinations and when, trying to remember the last time the dentist floated their teeth....I could go on for days! I love being able to have all of this information in one place. The app is a gift from Heaven! It’s awesome being able to add users so everyone stays in the loop regarding training schedules, feed, turnout, grooming, and other barn chores. If I’m away at a show and my horse turns up lame on his previously injured leg I can go to the vet on call and show them X-rays, rehab instructions, etc so they have a better understanding of what’s going on. I keep pictures on my horse’s profile so my farrier and I can keep track of the progress of the corrective shoeing and maintenance. Do yourselves a favor and subscribe to EquestFile now. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Horse info with you all the time

This has really helped us to be organized in our barn. The team has all the hires info with them all the time. It was a little hard to get used to recording and keeping the info in a different manner....but so worth it once we all got used to it!!

EquestFile has been great in helping us keep keep track of our barn/horse info! Sometimes I am in my pj’s at midnight updating tasks and feeds. Thanks for putting our barn info in our pocket!

Great program

My trainer got this software for our barn. I now know what is going on with our horses on a daily basis! I receive emails when they get their shoes done and other health care services. I appreciate our trainers for keeping us in the loop about our much loved horses. This is a great software product. A desktop and mobile app.

Angle Pie Pie...so sorry for your concern!! You need to go to www.equestfile.com to sign up and get your username and password. We are working on a method to subscribe through your mobile device and will have that available for barns shortly. U!

Please correct

I noticed a previous review from July that a user could not sign up on the app.
There was a response in September that explains you have to go to the website to sign up before it works…
1.) That seems like a not very good response time;
2.) why isn’t this mentioned anywhere on the app? I am text savvy and this is really annoying.
I bought the app after a rave review from my trainer but it seems to me like someone in charge could make this a whole lot easier for the user experience.

I’m going to go ahead and give it five stars…(haven’t used it yet- duh- I have to go to the website.)Only because I trust my trainers opinion.

Giddyupsf...regarding #1. You are right. The September response to too long. We are correcting that. Regarding #2. We are currently working on a method for new barns to sign up through the mobile app. So, #2 will be a moot point when we have that functionality up. Thank you for your feedback!!! EquestFile Review

I love EquestFile! I’ve been a user for over 6 months now. I was able to easily upload all of my horses information and I continue to update each horse’s health records on a weekly basis. I find myself accessing the site almost daily to look up a usef number or last date of a dental float. My clients can also access the site and see everything, including training sessions and lessons, that’s happening with their horse. I am able to use my app from my phone to do all my updates and it’s so easy and fast! The customer service is awesome. Most of the site is self explanatory, but if you need help, they will walk you through anything you need help with. My life is so much more organized now that I have all of my horses info in one convenient place! Can’t imagine ever going back to a file cabinet or having to call my vet to get important information. I have it all right here on my phone!

Professional trainer

I have been using this product since it was in its Beta testing stage, and have been in constant use for almost a year.

It has saved me so much time in my organizational office duties, that I can honestly say it has improved my work-life balance.

It takes a little focus up front to get used to doing the data entree, but by the second or third week, my office duties were cut from hours a day to minutes a day.

Hi, so sorry you couldn't find the login. Here is what you need to do...go to www.equestfile.com and sign up. You will get a user name and password and be good to go...Update May 2019...we now have a way for barns to sign up via the app store.
