Amazing app for horse girls

I use this for real horses, especially my high performance, broodmare Hobbiyah. This app even tracks when I ride her in my house

Subscription

I have purchased a yearly subscription and it says I’m at my free limit. I’ve tried to rectify it. But it won’t let me. Beware.

had so much potential but not accurate

I write a lot, especially on trails. This app looks like a lifesaver, and I had so many good reviews, I was so excited. I really love how specific it is, the way it provides gaits and all that. I just found it very inaccurate. I could draw it for a mile, then look at the ride tracker and it would say that 80% if it was walking with some canter mixed in. what kind of horse walks 6 miles an hour? (the current speed thing said I was going 6 miles an hour). Anyway, I had so much potential! Definitely try it, I don’t know if it’ll be better

please fix

i open my camera take a picture have music going then “ your fire was interrupted” go to get it back and it’s all gone.

Great until you have to pay

I used Equilab for years. Stopped riding for a bit and tried it again for the first time since 2022. It has allot of great features, if you pay for them. I used to be to see things like speed and tempo. Nope, those are locked and the price is ridiculous.

Eh

I love the idea of this app I think it will be great, the only thing I dislike is that all I get is premium ads that I don’t want I’m never going to get premium so stop asking me I hate it. I don’t want to see it

Great app

Love the challenges they really motivate me to ride to push myself. Also love the tracking feature which means when hacking alone somebody knows where I am. My only wish with the app is that there were more opportunities to win things etc like the special badges and to create a kind of ride satnav which helps highlight bridle paths and rights of way for riding to help see routes or plan new routes it would also be interesting to have a feature to report any issues a bit like the Waze app such as a blocked bridleway.

I SO want to love this app . . . But I don’t

I just rode today. For 31/2 hours. I put my iPhone in my pocket because the app struggles with tracking location from my Apple Watch. No matter how many times I’ve adjusted the settings. And? I got the typical
Mishmash of data. According to the app I did 322 transitions. Spoiler alert: I did NOT. I always struggle with an accurate record of distance traveled, speed and transitions accuracy and saving data. The app is not intuitive to use and, quite frankly, I want to focus on riding not on learning another app. So once again, the record of today’s ride disappeared. I’ve learned by now to screen shot it while it’s up. If the app simply and easily it did everything it says it would be worth
The price. But it doesn’t.

God forbid you accidentally close the app

Will change to 5 stars when yall program app to run in background when you close app!! I always lose my training if I accidentally close app and it’s made me so mad that i came all the way here to leave this review. Or you should AT LEAST be able to combine trainings. Then maybe I’ll pay the $45 a month yall ask for. Yall need to act like a paid app if you’re going to ask for payment!

Half of the time the app doesn’t work

I’m thinking about looking for a different app

Good job👍

First time using it very good very easy everything I needed to know to get my mare fit for hunting

I wish I could add more horses without having to pay.

This app is great besides the fact that you can only have one horse for free. Easy to use.

Was great, but…

I am a dressage trainer with a large lesson program. Equilab was an excellent way for my students to give me access to their riding data when they ride and train outside of lessons. Recently, Equilab appears to have limited the number of recent rides I can see to 8 (far fewer than the number of students I have riding daily) so that I can no longer keep up with everyone’s rides. Many of my students pay for the premium version of this app, and we are very frustrated I cannot access their rides anymore.
It’s so sad to see an app degrade like this.

Horse riding in Sardinia with Meurreddus horses

Great app for recording. I use it in Sardinia when I go on excursions with the Meurreddus equestrian center 🥰

Great for trainers

I really like using the app for all the horses I’m training. I have lots of horses to train and it keeps me consistent when it comes to staying consistent with tracking progress with the notes session.
It would be great if we had the option to train 2 horses at the same time. Sometimes I might b working with 2 horses if I’m doing ground work, ponying a horse, hitching, gentling mustangs ….

pretty awesome!

i use equilab a lot! and i love it!! i think my only thing is that it does cost some money to get premium for more advantages. (like safety tracking) other than that its an awesome app with fabulous people!

Great but…

This app is wonderful for tracking regular activities with your horses and ponies, I love the variety in trainings it lists and love the speed and distance tracking. HOWEVER, I primarily carriage drive a miniature horse and the app does not pick up her speed as anything but walking. I would love if you could set a specific speed to register as walk trot and canter (I use the app frequently enough that I know what her average speed is in each gait). Otherwise it’s great!
