Really good! But.. just ONE problem

Erase.bg does a great job at automatically detecting and removing backgrounds from images with impressive accuracy. It uses AI technology to identify the subject of the image and cleanly removes the background, making it easy for users to create transparent images or replace the background entirely. However, the app can be a bit sketchy to use—there’s no clear “X” button to exit certain screens, so users often have to close the app and reopen it just to navigate away or click off a screen. This minor inconvenience can be a bit frustrating, but the background removal feature itself generally works well. 4 stars :3

I took my time to check reviews

I spent some time reading the reviews that were there, some of them were quite old so I figured they would be at least several upgrades to this app, I see the last one was about three months from this date, 12th of July 2024, first thing I did was load a photo from my album, this didn’t work, after three attempts, I took another photo of the article that I wanted to edit, that didn’t work either, tried it four times and still nothing, told me to try again later, really? How much later?
I get it that it’s a free editor, but you would think it would work, I don’t particularly want to transfer my photos to my laptop to edit in Photoshop, but it looks like I’m going to have to anyway at least as far as this app is concerned, very disappointed

Doesn’t work anymore

This app used to be great but now it doesn’t work it just gives a black background. If that’s what you want I guess it’s better than nothing 🤷‍♀️

Die Bilder muss man auf den Server hochladen, um bearbeiten zu können. Das ist mir zu umständlich. Die Frage ist auch, ob die Bilder danach gelöscht oder gesammelt werden. Ich habe die App sofort wieder gelöscht.

Ganz gut, …..

aber nicht sehr gut.
Daher nur 3 Sterne.

Da gibt es noch ne andere App, die das besser kann, wenn sich der Hintergrund nicht stark vom Objekt abgrenzt.
Daher habe ich die App wieder gelöscht, weil 1 App von der Sorte reicht mir.

Choices

It is an excellent app. I do wish there were a way to choose other items in the foreground besides the person to keep. I would consider paying for such an app.

Works great but why is it rated 17+?

Not sure why this app is rated 17+.
It is a fun app and my grandkids love it but I have them restricted to 9+. So they can only use it when I monitor.
