Ergo — Kubernetes

Ergo for iPhone and iPad is the on-call companion to Ergo for Mac: the cluster you were reading at your desk, in your pocket, read-only on purpose. CONFIGURE ON THE MAC, VIEW ON THE PHONE There is no setup screen. Turn on iCloud sync in Ergo on your Mac and your clusters appear here — names, endpoints and environment tiers travel through your own iCloud account. Credentials never do: they stay in the Keychain of the device that created them, so a synced cluster asks you to sign in once here, through your provider's own page. WHAT IT SHOWS A health ring that counts the pods actually serving, not the pods that exist. A "needs attention" list that names what is unhealthy right now and quotes the cluster's own event underneath it — the words Kubernetes used, not a paraphrase. Your apps, grouped the way the Mac groups them. Pods, workloads and events, worst first, because the reason to open a list on a phone is to find the thing that is wrong. Live logs, streamed from the same endpoint kubectl uses. IT READS. THE MAC WRITES. Restarting, scaling, applying and deleting live on the Mac, behind its confirmation and its audit log. This app cannot make a change to a cluster — not by policy but by construction, and a phone in a pocket at 3 a.m. is the worst place from which to delete a production pod by accident. BUILT FOR BOTH SIZES iPhone gets a single-column app with a floating tab bar. iPad gets a three-pane split — clusters and sections, the list, the drill-in — with keyboard shortcuts, so you can see the pod list and the pod at once. Split View is supported, because a runbook is usually open next to it. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT DOES NOT KNOW A cluster that will not let you list nodes reads as "—", not as zero nodes. A cluster that does not run cert-manager is not reported as having no certificates. A pod with no CPU limit gets a measurement rather than a percentage of a ceiling that was invented for the gauge. Ergo has no alerting server and will not pretend to page you. TRY IT WITH NO CLUSTER AT ALL A built-in sample cluster is there on first launch — served from data inside the app, no network, no account, nothing to sign in to. Every screen works against it.
