STILL doesn’t work with PS5. There’s no PS5 version of the app or anything. Poor!

This app is completely useless.
Got the game free on ps plus one month and decided to give it a go. Not sure if it still works for people on ps4 but if you’re on a ps5 and trying to connect, even with a hotspot, it just no longer works.

Title says it all. Tried it myself and then went to Google and says it isn’t backwards compatible. I’ll still give it 5 stars for working with PS4 since this is Sonys fault for making a next gen console incompatible in the year 2024

Kinda stupid, but the game runs on a ps5 however cannot connect to the app, only works if you have ps4 hardware. Seems like a massive oversight
Will not work with newer Wifi router
The game insists it’s better to play with your smartphone however it is unable to make a connection to play “connected to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.” Prompting for connection to “a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.” 🤷🏻♀️ Probably better to skip the whole process and just use the controller from the get go

Guess they gave up entirely on updating this thing. App serves no purpose if you are a ps5 owner, don’t waste your time trying to get it to connect cause it won’t work.

This game is released on ps 5 … PS5 is the current generation of console. Yet your app doesn’t support it … this needs to be fixed
Lacks support for the PS5
Firstly, I understand that the app is quite literally called ‘Erica App PS4’ so I don’t find it incredibly surprising that it isn’t working for PlayStation 5. However, the fact that it doesn’t work with the PS5 is seemingly disappointing. Erica is a wonderful game experience that I missed out on during the PS4 generation. I’ve been playing it on my PS5 but the game insists the experience is better with the app versus the controller. I read some other reviews here that detail some of the great things the app can do and feel like I’ve missed out somewhat. Here’s to hoping that somehow the app can be updated to identify PS5 consoles running Erica via backwards compatibility.

It connected once, but now says it cannot find the system. Tried both through same Wi-Fi and hotspot but still no luck
