I’ve been playing this for decades to relax. I can pick the challenge level…also letting me know when I picked the wrong # avoids the usual Sudoku frustration.

Want my old stuff back

I LOVE this game, and have had it since version one. Eric keeps it up-to-date, and I play it every day. But, tonite when I opened it, I was horrified to find that the clear, easy to see boxes in the various lists of puzzles are nearly invisible. The color that shows which number I’m working on is an ugly orange scribble! I want my old colors and boxes back, please! Eric, I’m sure you thought this would look great with the darned “glass” OS, that Apple forced on us, but it doesn’t. I cannot use the “glass” OS settings. Please at least give us the option to go back to the way the game looked yesterday. P.S. anyone else remember Eric’s Fountains? 😄

Sorry about the change in look – I think this was actually just the game automatically changing its look to match your device's "Dark Mode" setting. In good news, I just released an update to Eric's Sudoku (version 1.6) that has a Dark Mode setting on the Settings screen so you can customize it. Turn that to "Light" and you should be back to the usual way Sudoku looks, all the time! I was recently messing around getting "Eric's Cascade" working again and will see if I can figure out a good way to release it again.

Not free anymore

I used to love Eric’s games. They are well engineered. But instead of rolling over points to continue playing, they don’t give you enough points to do that because they want you to buy the points. For example, I just completed a quarter of my sudoku level and got five points. To roll over into another game I need 60 points.

Sorry it's not rewarding you enough Tokens – if you're still having trouble, and interested, send an email to me at eric@sniderware.com and I'll see what I can do. Also, are there any Achievements available to complete because that's a good way to earn Tokens. And of course you can watch an ad to earn Tokens too.

I am a beginner and I find this challenging but not overwhelming. Lots of fun and good for focus and concentration.

I really enjoy play this sudoku game. I haven't gone too far on on my 2nd 100 puzzle. I hope as I continue it will not cost me money. It's really challenging and I like playing against the clock. But I don't understand how u accumulate the tokens. Sincerely Nancy
