Misses the mark
This app only comes with one song and there is no chart included. For something that purports to be an educational tool, it falls really short of other offerings made from Peter Erskine and Fuzzy Music.
App won’t play with IOS 16.1.1
Love the fuzzy music apps, but the audio stopped working when I updated to 16.1.1. Hoping a fix is in the works…
Update: app will play, but ONLY when recording, odd but it’s working at least.

Only 1 tune/chart? Otherwise fantastic
I love every offering in this brilliant Fuzzy Music app series. I can’t believe it isn’t more talked about, discussed, utilized extremely widely, and in my upcoming return to teaching jazz drums, I want to change that immediately.
As a not-so-young drummer in my mid-50s, I grew up playing “Music Minus One“ records by Jim Chapin and others as a great practice tool. Years later, MMO chief Irv Kratka hired me to create a play-along CD/booklet package for drummers, “Open Session With the Greg Burrows Quintet“. A lasting success, still in print over 20 years later, I feel as though MMO forged new territory and served a great purpose, butthis app, with its built-in mixer, recording capability, ability to mute or emphasize any instrument in the band, provides a challenge for jazz drummers of any level from intermediate to professional. I am a pro player and I am seriously and joyfully challenged by all of the material in all of Peter Erskine’s INCREDIBLE play-along apps. With Bob Mintzer and top-flight bands playing the parts, seriously, you can’t go wrong here. Instrumentalists of all big band instruments, and small jazz group players, owe it to themselves to purchase and doggedly incorporate this brilliant app series.
