Functions removed
Why have functions like weather and notes been removed from the app i brought this as described with all the functions and they are missing not good service.
Don’t buy
Just bought this older launch monitor as I’m new to golf and wanted to just get a little feedback on my distance. It was only $150 but it basically doesn’t work at all. I connected it, powered it on, it picks up 1 of every 10 balls hit. I hit a bunch at all different positions and it never tracks properly. The few it picked up were also way off, it had me hitting my 9iron - 200 yards.

What Happened to All the App Features?
I purchased my ES12 a few years ago. The monitor worked fine and the app allowed me to upload videos, see my shots in historical data (3 different shots). I used it almost every day. I got a new iPhone and I had to download the ES12 app again....and now, I
Lost the video analysis and the other features that I had previously. For $200, the monitor is a great tool! BUT THE APP WAS A WHOLE LOT BETTER!! What happened???

Cannot use fully
All I can do is range sessions. Why can’t I use the all functions on my iPhone/iPad. Please update the app otherwise it’s pretty pointless
Where’s all the good stuff?
The ES12 works great but, the app that is presented in the booklet that comes with the ES12 is not the same app u down load. Love how it can tell me my distance but want more out of the app👎
Big disappointment.
My wife bought me the ES12 for Christmas but weather has kept me from trying it out. I finally took it out today and initially was impressed at how easily it picked up the balls and distances.
But then I started looking in the app for all the great features that were advertised only to find out they are not there. I’m sure since she bought it on amazon and it’s been this long I won’t be able to return it but I will try anyway.
Sad thing is I was already thinking about upgrading to a device with launch angle and spin rates but now I will have to shop elsewhere as Ernest Sports will not get me again.
But then I started looking in the app for all the great features that were advertised only to find out they are not there. I’m sure since she bought it on amazon and it’s been this long I won’t be able to return it but I will try anyway.

App for Win 3.1 ! Terrible
This app connects my ES12 perfectly but guess what the user experience is poor.
It is just a very basic interface to measure you speed , distance and so on but you cannot get all other app feature because they are not supporting the new IOS Version terrible !!
This looks like a 98s interface , what a waste of great HW device with poor App.

Limited
The original app had like seven tools to use this new one has two. Capture range data and range history. I have already contacted Ernest sports to see if the other things are coming back and if not can I get a refund because this is a much more limited product than what I paid for. We will see.
OS 11
This app does not work on my iPad, come on ES let me use the benefits of your ES12. All I’m getting is Range Sessions .
At last
I really thought I had to toss this device in the trash since the app totally stopped working. After only once used, I felt like I had been robbed. I wrote a review along with other customers and I am glad our voices did not fall on deaf ears. You corrected this issue and I would like to say thank you. I was not alerted of a update mind you. I simply stumbled across it and the update corrected everything. Thank you, Ernestsports.
