Good game…

but so many very long ads - even before you start playing or if you pause for a minute.

Adorable!

This game makes great use of the Hinamatsuri traditional display for puzzles. Bonus level is so clever! Puzzles are fair and reasonable. This was a delight to play.

A ‘Just OK’ game from a consistent 5-STAR Developer

UPDATE: My complaints about a bug seemed to have been fixed upon my original review so I’m re-reviewing now that I’ve finished it… This is generally a 5-Star game developer and I’ve loved every one they’ve done, however this particular escape game is just not very intuitive as they’ve often been. You’ll spend loads of time spinning in circles tapping like crazy for something/anything to react, forcing you to use the multi-level hint system. Which is fine, I guess; I only wish I didn’t have to contend with endless “Failed to load Ad” responses between each step.

Pro Tip for players: Unlike the usual norm in most escape games where any clue used to solve a puzzle can then be disregarded, a few of the clues here tend to have multiple purposes to solve multiple puzzles. So disregard nothing till it’s over.

We’re glad to hear the bug issue has been resolved, but we’re sorry that this particular game didn’t quite meet your expectations. We always strive to create intuitive and engaging escape experiences, so we’ll take your feedback into account to improve future releases. Regarding the ad loading issue, we understand how frustrating that can be, and we’ll investigate ways to optimize the experience. Also, great tip! Some clues do have multiple uses in this game, so that’s definitely something for players to keep in mind. Thanks again for playing, and we hope you’ll enjoy our future titles! 😊🔑✨

BROKEN BUG halts game

I generally LOVE these games from this developer, but the progress completely stops with the telephone since the rotary dial does not spin at all (as shown in the hint/answer). No sound, no animation.

Also, very unlike their past games it is far too quick to get stuck wondering what to do or just how things relate. So you’re left just tapping everywhere, even if it makes no sense… which is how I discovered a puzzle hidden completely off-screen with no way of knowing it was even over there.*

*Accessed by tapping the empty blank wall space on the bottom left corner of your screen while facing the flat doorway that is locked. Would help if there was at least something there to make you think to even tap there.
