Fun game but lousy ending!

I was excited about playing this game, what with so many clues and puzzles! But when I beat the game, it was like “Good job, you escaped, goodbye.” It was a really anticlimactic ending! What about the character being in the forest located who-knows-where! What happened after you leave the building?! Is the place deep in the wilderness, or is it a 30 minute walk home! Details people!
