Not a point and click
Even though the text accompanying this game mentions point and click, this game has no point and click elements. It is just puzzle after puzzle after puzzle. Disappointing and boring.
Not like the other games
A bunch of static one-screen puzzles with heaps of annoying plot-related text interspersed between them... very different to the other adventure games where you get to explore an environment, find objects, solve practical problems etc not just solve puzzles on a static screen. Feel disappointed and a bit cheated that I paid for this on the basis of their other games when it isn’t really the same experience at all.

So disappointing!
I wish I'd read the other reviews before purchasing this! The developer's other apps are amazing, but this one is just a series of mediocre mini games. A complete waste of money. ☹️
Tedious, boring, poor programming
It's just a series really basic puzzles with a bunch of pointless, non-interactive narrative in between. Not the least bit engaging, and the only puzzles that are "challenging" are the ones that don't function properly (pieces that are supposed to move and don't).
Overall don't bother
Played and enjoyed Haunted Hollow 1 & 2. Thought this would be similar; it's not. There's no exploration just a succession of puzzles which quickly becomes boring. There is an attempt at a storyline and therefore a reason for these puzzles but it's not enough to maintain interest so I gave up. Finally you are given the character of a princess rather than an anonymous third person so not one for the boys. Overall don't bother.

Disappointing - Not like the earlier games
I was expecting another more adventure based point and click like the other ones - where you had to look around, use object and solve puzzles. This one you just open doors, do a quick puzzle, and open another door. I'm kind of bored already and even though it was $3 annoyed that I spent the money expecting something different.

Horrible Game!
I thought this game would be like Mystery of Haunted Hollows but it's nothing like it. It has no map layout, no hidden objects, no walk through, it's just a bunch of puzzles which you can skip at anytime and move on. I didn't even bother playing it. This is the type of game that should be free. I want a refund. If there was an option to give a zero I would.

Terrible
Not worth 99p, nevermind £2.99!
Stunning story with twisted puzzles!
The plot, the graphics, music and puzzles create an incredible, adventurous and mysterious atmosphere! It is so easy to follow the game and so hard to go back to reality after playing it, just hope there will be a sequel, cause this genre of games is so much better than angry birds kind of games!

Me personally don't like such door opening puzzles a lot, but still playing was fun
A real pearl
I enjoyed solving puzzles, revealing mysteries and following the storyline. Sometimes it was tricky but always satisfactory. Would like to check more of their games.

I had liked this application. It is very interesting to solve puzzles. I very much like this genre of point & click. Also there is a good story line. A game costs the money.

Very interesting game. I love the graphic, music is really beautiful and scenario is wonderful. For all fans of puzzles and historic atmosphere.
Great developer, terrible game.
On the one hand, straight up puzzles, no hidden objects. On the other hand, no map, completely linear movement and self-contained rooms. Also, precious little plot. Really a disappointment from this developer. Some of the puzzles are good, some are lame, some don't work because of the controls (vault puzzle in the casino room, I'm looking at you.)
By far the oddest feature of the app is the abrupt close of any solved puzzle- you finish a puzzle and it instantly vanishes, which isn't good gameplay. Most games allow you to step back and leave the room of your own volition. It's as if they never played a traditional point and click, which is bewildering since they've BUILT other ones.
This one should have been held in beta longer and some UX research done.

Good escape game
There is not much dynamics in this game. But I like to play it on the way to work or home. It relaxes and at the same time helps to become more attentive. This game game can become boring if you play it too long.
Such a game!
I'm really in love with this app. It was created with the atmosphere of real castle thriller. Maybe it's just because I'm really emotional and I try to connect the app with the books I love, but I think it is worth it's money and time
Hints stink
I gave it 1 star because 0 was not an option. I barely managed to put up with the lengthy monologues and the same door for each scene, but then there is the hint system. The hint system hits a brick wall and the game's enjoyment disappears on the "bells" puzzle. At that point I deleted the game rather than "skip" the puzzle. I mean really, was this stuff written by a foreigner pretending to understand English?
After purchasing their other games and thoroughly enjoying them I found this one to be a bomb. Wasted money......

Nicely done
This is very nicely done point and click game. It is very intriguing and pretty challenging, the pazzles, the story line and the graphics are great. I really enjoyed playing it.
