Works fine except it will not let me add any notes to any oils. If this worked I give five stars.
Not great
I have the Aroma Tools Modern Essentials App. I’m not sure why they discontinued it for new users, but it is by far a better App than this one. This App is missing really critical information such as oils recommendation for treatment diabetes.
It also hasn’t been updated for 2 yrs.

Slightly useful, but still a rip off
This app is a great concept but is a scam and a rip off of BitToast’s Essential Oils - Young Living app. I gave it 2 stars because the addition of the doTERRA information might be helpful for some, but everything else about the app is clearly stolen from BitToast’s. Also, the daily features have never actually loaded for me, and neither the website nor email address listed in this app’s description actually exist.

Inventory Problem
I was so excited to see dōTERRA and Young Living oils in this app, buy them I was so disappointed to find there are only single oils in the inventory and shopping list. What about the blends? Or maybe just the capability to add items that are not on the list?
Not what I was looking for
Can’t remember if I had to buy this or not. Helpful, but not what I was looking for. Wanted to go more in depth on some oils ghat weren’t here.
Cancellation of yearly subscription
This app required me to put in cc information before I begin the 3 day free trial. I have tried to cancel the yearly subscription after a day and there wasn’t a way for me to do so. I sent a message to the developer and haven’t received a response.
Functional and comprehensive
This has everything you need, with lots of info about all the oils you are ever likely to use. The only disadvantage is that recipes are disabled unless you take out a subscription. This would work out pretty expensive long term. However, you can find recipes elsewhere and add them to the app in the form of notes, which can be attached to individual oils or individual conditions. Your notes are conveniently listed together as a separate menu, so can be easily found and accessed. The note-taking and search facilities are truly excellent, and this gives you the foundations for a useful and flexible app that can be added to over time in a much more useful way than simply marking “favourites”, which you can also do, which creates useful shortcuts. All in all, an excellent resource.

Unidentifiable symbols
Can not find a legend for the symbols used to identify each oil. That makes the symbols useless
Where’s the homepage content?
I’ve downloaded this app and the home page content is missing. Would love the recipes, tips and oil info. Please bring that back! Will increase to 4 or 5 stars!
Could add more oils
Was putting my oils in so I had a list on the go but there isn’t any wintergreen missing a lot of oils!

I refuse to pay a monthly fee for an app that can’t at least give a full few days free to see if it’s worth it.

Excellent App
Have only had this less than a week and I upgraded. Just not impressed how expensive it is.
Useless without paid upgrade
Don’t bother with this app. It’s not at all a good reference for beginners to essential oils.
With the free version, you can lookup different ailments, but all you get is a descriptor of the ailment, no recipes or suggested oil combinations to actually address the ailment.
You can add your own ailments. You can add your favorite essential oils. But doing so just creates an unnecessary list with no support for addressing the ailments with the oils.
I’m not paying for this when there are numerous other apps that are far more helpful while remaining free to use.

Won’t do anything
I was so excited to find this app, it had great reviews, but I can’t get it to do anything and the worst part is that I paid the 4.99 to get it.
App won’t open
I’m unable to open the app, as it just keeps spinning! I’m hesitant to spending $10 upgrade as am not sure that will work either! Does anyone else have this issue as well?
Pricing is ridiculous
Looks like a great app but recipes are not available without upgrade which is $5/month or $40/year instead of a one-time fee. That's ridiculous for a quick phone all. Anyone serious about essential oils has all the books and this would just be a quick reference. Way too expensive for what it is.
Not complete app
I really liked the idea of the inventory. However the listing oils is very light. I have more oils them listed. A bit disappointing.
