User reviews

Unintuitive and uncustomizable

It doesn’t even use the standard calculator layout, causing me to hit comma instead of period constantly. Why is it even there when comma decimals are off?

It took me ages to figure out how to get the result of my calculations, and I’m not sure what I did that caused the answer to begin showing up. I just want a calculator app that works like the default Android one. Bonus points for Speedcrunch/Numbat style features, but entirely unnecessary.

Decent

Powerful, but there is 1 bug and a UI/UX opportunity. When the display is full, adding new characters does not scroll visually, but logically it did. Thus, one need to move to the left to refresh, even though the new characters are on the right. This is known as happened on Mac but fixed already.

Overall, the UI could be improved by allowing gestures instead of relying solely on the arrows, and adding landscape support with the additional buttons.

Review botted?

Using this through my set app subscription and have had none of the issues from previous reviews.

Requires In-App Purchase

It claims to be a free app but it requires an in-app purchase right out the gate to even work.

App freezes and crashes constantly

Not really a calculator as it crashes or freezes doing basic calculations. It also freezes entirely trying to open the settings pane. Takes much too long to open.

Built in calculator on the phone is much better.
