I love this game I spent a lot of money on it but now I can’t hear the music or narrator I went to settings and everything is on but when I try to continue my story I can’t hear anything do I uninstall and reinstall I’m lost.
Ai can’t remember I completed story
I love this game a lot I’ve made 3 stories now but with my third story I completed the story now trying to save up essence to make a sequel but I left the game and came back and now it doesn’t remember that I had completed the final chapter it’s irritating because I spent a lot of essence and time on the final chapter and now it says start the final chapter again after I had completed it please fix it.

i keep losing essence?
good app but i made a purchase and i believe i was at 700 something essence and after re launching the app and and playing like 2 chapters- i say i was down to 500 something which doesnt seem possible to spend in the span of 15 minutes. Then i managed to get a reward and go back up to 600 something essence just for it to fall back after it failed to generate a message and it ‘refunded’ me back to 528 instead??

Hi Kevginger, thanks for the review. I hope I understand your question correctly -- no data goes to Apple or your credit card provider just for signing up for an account in Euphoria. But if you decide to make an in app purchase, that transaction is handled (as with any other app on iOS) via Apple.

I’ve been playing this game and I really really enjoy it! However recently it keeps saying there’s an error and won’t load the app, I’ll give it 5 stars when I can actually play again! 😩
Need fixing
I don’t usually send a review, but I tried making stories and it seems like the AI don’t remember who’s been eliminated or not and doesn’t keep the characters how they should be half of the time. I do see good potential for this game just needs some fixes and also the characters keep changing when you pick them.

Better than I imagined
I was initially skeptical, as most mobile VN games have swapped to AI and there is a noticeable downside in quality.
I gave it a chance, though and was very pleasantly surprised. In creating your own type of story you are only limited by you own imagination and attention to detail. Taking the time to go through the setups and tweak things is mandatory, but doesn’t take very long. You can change everything from story beats, to tracking variables like health, character art, descriptions, etc.
The AI is imperfect, of course. There are hiccups now and then, especially if you play beyond the initial 8 chapter setup it plans out and the world starts to expand beyond the set characters that were already defined. It will begin to reuse assets or get a name confused as the roster grows to 20+ people. Interestingly, the world stays consistent, the AI just has a problem handling that many characters.
In my opinion, this is completely offset by the ability to play in exactly the settings I choose, to input my own responses rather than just those provided for me, and the surprisingly good adaptation of the AI to unexpected, branching narratives. The initial set cast of characters is also extremely consistent in their behavior and responses.
It’s different than traditional VN offerings, in a good way, I think. Not necessarily better, but a different delicious flavor. The creator is very good at responding to feedback and bug requests, usually getting back within a matter of hours.
Give it a try. It’s free to make your first book, and I wasn’t disappointed. Gotten hours and hours of enjoyment out of this app so far.

fix your app
when you try to customize the character you play as, the character image reverts back to the default of the story. that’s the case with the Arcanum Academy story at least. this is very irritating and should be fixed

This app has had a hold on me since I downloaded it over a week ago. It’s so good! I love romance VN and have tried well over 20+ different ones. I’ve also tried a few AI-based ones, and I was not impressed. I’ll admit it, I am a AI hater when it comes to creativity. That is, until now. I can’t speak too much about the books readily available because, as of the time of this review, most of them are fantasy, which I’m kinda burnt out on. My review is going to be about the story creator.
As a test I just threw in a story idea to see how things would go, and I was absolutely floored. Characters with depth and nuance, genuine emotions, twists you don’t see coming, realistic consequences for choices, and the ability to customize your responses and have the story adapt in real-time. On top of that, the amount of detail you can apply to creating your story is amazing. From the characters backgrounds/motivations, story details, and AI-assisted sprite creation with your exact details and instructions, and customizable spice level (the devil is in the details with this one). I have experienced a gambit of emotions from the stories I’ve been able to create with the AI. If you love visual novels (RC, SHS, and LOD are some of my favorites, for reference), have a creative spirit or a story idea you want to try, I think you’ll definitely be happy with this app.
Now the bad. Sometimes the AI loses branching threads. It doesn’t happen often and in some books it doesn’t happen at all. The great thing is, it can and will right itself with or without assistance. I love the character creator but I wish we could have a private folder for the characters we create. Sometimes the characters can get pushed down beyond the search, the search engine in the creator isn’t the greatest for finding them again, and it only shows a finite amount. This may be good or bad depending on how you like to read your stories, but when you reread your story, and make all the same decisions again, it still won’t be exactly the same. I don’t mind this, so just a head’s up if you do.
This is just a personal thing, but since the app is rated 17+, I wish more dark content was allowed to be published with warnings. If you’re a very dark romance and dark erotica lover, you won’t find what you’re looking for in the readily-made books because of the content restrictions. But you can find some yandere. With that said, you can create those books (again, the story details section will need to be customized to do this) within reason. Like with most AI, morality sensors are locked in. Phrasing helps, but it still gets triggered for sometimes inane things. For instance in one of my custom stories a hacker was exploiting vulnerabilities in a computer system and I got an alert for it. I don’t have any other complaints because it seems the developers are very active. Anytime there is a bug or an issue it seems to be fixed pretty quickly.
Love this app and can’t recommend it enough. RIP to my wallet, though.

Amazing I love this so much! Exactly what I was looking for. It gets addicting I swear. I’ve been trying to write a novel for weeks and had a rough idea of how I’d like it to go. This game really helped make the story feel alive. This is like the episode game but dynamic! The story adapts to your prompts. I never get bored! Thank you developers! Keep up the awesome work!
