Great game

This game was fun to play. It seemed like this game was longer then most. It kept my interest. I would recommend this game.

Fun story lines, slow graphics, off center targets, poor quality.

The game has a decent story line. It has a lot of movement through the different locations. It has glitches where puzzles don’t unlock after solving them.

The movement of characters was glitchy, and not smooth. And over half the characters were poorly disguised real life actors and actresses. I’m sure they did not give permission for their likenesses to be used for someone else’s monetary gain.

Great game!!!

Probably my favorite so far I’ve played from Big Fish. Well worth the sale price!! Only four stars because in the last third of the game, there are lots of typos and broken English in the clues and narrative. It doesn’t impact gameplay, but definitely serves as an unpleasant distraction and makes the game seem less polished.

It was fun!

Only complain is there was a glitch on a mini game that I had to back out of then go back in. Otherwise I loved it!

Fun Game

So far everything works well and I am enjoying it

Beautiful artwork

Creative puzzles. Storyline ok. Music appropriate. Spelling obviously not edited by English major.

Fun but some puzzles were off

Thought the game was good, but some of the puzzles were hard to get to work. Good overall.

Flowers of death

I enjoyed this game!!

European Mystery-Flowers of Death

Overall I enjoyed this game, except it seemed to drag things out by constantly having to tap backward & forward to change scenes. Also, whoever wrote the script/narrations obviously has poor command of the English language or the editor didn't do a good job proofing spelling/grammar.

I loved it too...

Graphics are great... teleporting map... story line isn't lame... Anyway I think it's worth the$$$:)

I enjoyed it

I think this was a really fun game. Sometimes easy...sometimes not. The art, the story and the games are interesting and well done.

Flowers of Death-European Mystery

This was a great game. I enjoyed it immensely!!
I hope to see more like this one.

Need more HOPs!

Needs a better translator. Too much emphasis on puzzles rather than HOPs.

Worst game ever

Don't waste your money.

European Mystery: Flowers of Death by LynxMinx

This game was not as bad as some people said. It had a lot of good elements, but the poor quality of other elements made it seem worse. First of all I had no problem playing it or with any loading issues. I don't understand what the problem was, unless these people were playing this game on a Nintendo DS! Said sarcastically!
The game was lengthy and had a long bonus adventure. Unfortunately the graphics were very faded and dull. Also you could definitely tell that English was not a language the developer was familiar with using on a regular basis. The syntax, spelling, grammar and vocabulary was way off, and I don't understand because we have played many excellent games by this developer! There was no diary; instead there was a ridiculous evidence board. However objectives were regularly updated and the story was easy to follow. You could customize settings. There were many locations to unlock, and a marked, if so customized teleport map to transport you. At each location you collect cards and shoes, but who cares? The map was a bit annoying because it moved around. Inventory was labeled, interactive, and had complex items to assemble. The HO scenes were varied and not overly numerous. There was a wide variety of puzzles/games. A lot of them were boring rotational stuff, but there were others that were games of skill/ dexterity, and some others that were a bit more original. There was a lot to do at each location. You had to fix equipment, assist characters, make potions, etc. The gimmick in this game was a magical machine you use to analyze pollen samples and then mix an antidote to combat the venomous plants.
If the graphics and language had been better I would have given the game 4 stars, but my actual review is a 3.5. This game was still good enough to play if you bought it at the sale price, and at least they didn't torture me with RATS!
Lynxie sends ❤️💋😘👍 to the fabulous DTE!

Flowers of Death

A very good game, I like the involvement, the mini games and motion in the game.

Good game

The graphics were excellent and the storyline easy to follow. The only thing I didn't like was that the puzzles had very poor directions. Also, the language was obviously not English originally, as it was poorly translated. All in all though, I did like it. It was very colorful and bright.

Deadly Flowers Indeed!

This is a 3-star game for me. No technical issues with play, but story doesn't pull me in at all. Same tired premise of a detective investigating supposed supernatural occurrences. Released by Blam a little over a year ago. OK if you have nothing else to play.

The Good: customizable mode of play, collectable morphing cards and shoes. Transportable map. Graphics are clean; voices not annoying! Strategy guide doesn't make you reboot the game upon exiting. Decent transition times between scenes.

The Bad: So-so story. Game play not challenging at all.

The Ugly: Nothing to report here.

To Beebee: you might want to check out Melissa K and the Heart of Gold - this game came out in 2014 but it's still one of my favorites. Funny dialog, interesting 3D puzzles, good story. Worth splurging for the CE version because the bonus game gives a fun perspective of the story from another point of view. It's on sale right now, with a free trial, so give it a whirl.

Upcoming Games from Big Fish Games:
Curio Society: New Order (4 stars Domini Games, May '16)
Dark Parables: Goldilocks and the Fallen Star (3.4 stars, Eipix, Nov. '15)
Fear for Sale: House on Black River (4.3 stars, EleFun, Mar '16) - not sure if EleFun has fixed their horrific transition times between scenes yet. Their last games had such potential but the lag killed the enjoyment.
Amaranthine Voyage: Orb of Purity (3.1 stars, Eipix, Oct. '15)
Vampire Legends: Untold Story of Elizabeth Bathory (3.7 stars I think, released late in 2014 so it's an oldie)

These "Wilted" Flowers Are Missing A Few Petals!

ATTENTION: "Eventide 2: Sorcerer's Mirror" by Artifex Mundi was just released today!

In addition, I just finished playing both "Adam Wolfe: Dark Detective Mystery" by Madhead (distributed separately from Big Fish) and "Darkness and Flame: Born of Fire" by FIVE-BN; they were great. Reviews have been submitted by several players already.

So, we're back to horror after a pleasant side-trip to another galaxy. The predecessors in this series contained distinct elements that set them apart from other mundane mysteries, such as the lively artwork that detailed the ambiance of Rome's flourishing and historical Baroque period as evidenced in "European Mystery: The Face Of Envy." Now, this series has been inducted into the horror-ridden Hall of Fame. The storyline falls flat of any original concepts; but you will refer to an Evidence Board to assemble collected pieces of evidence regarding the mysterious, lethal flowers. Unfortunately, this board is compiled as an unorganized, junk-pile mess that is convoluted in logic. The graphics are impressive with skillfully polished illustrations; presentation is superior in sharpness, crispness, and clarity. The colors, which demonstrate an overcast, gloomy, and foreboding atmosphere, are dark and shadowy; once again, "purplish-blue" besieges your vision. Customized settings are offered; choices are generous. Inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. The map gives adequate teleport to labeled locations and indicates available actions. The cut-scenes neglect to deliver superior quality; movement is slightly clunky, and the visuals are fuzzy. Transition is fairly swift; no glitches or other noticeable tech issues. The HOS are unspectacular, but they are more interactive than they appear to be; they are comprised of a mix of assorted types. The puzzles are very juvenile in presentation as some require only one or two steps to complete; however, they are fun in their simplicity. The collectibles can be challenging to spot at times. The spelling and grammar are atrocious; the abundance of misspelled words and incoherent sentences is astounding. Overall, this game exhibits an outdated overture, which is void of innovational thought; play this only if you are conflicted with undeniable boredom and have already played the two newly released games as stated above. My true rating is 2.75 stars; however, I rounded it off to 3 stars due to "almost" glitch-free gameplay, decent HOS, decent length, customized settings, etc..

Ok I guess I'm the only one so for that has only one problem and that's the only reason I didn't give it a five, it's a little slow between scenes, other than that I love the game. I like the kit to mix the formula's, the colors and scenery are great. I hope I can get some scene savers out of this game. It's worth the money to me, and I had no problem loading the game.
