About
GangBox is the office app for Eutaw Construction Company. It gathers the small day-to-day things the office runs on into one place, so nobody has to remember which sheet of paper a thing lives on.
It is used by our own employees. Signing in requires a Eutaw Construction account.
WHAT IS IN IT
Stock walk. Walk the break rooms and mark each item OK, LOW or OUT. The order list writes itself from whatever came back LOW or OUT. Built for the dead spots - the supply closet has no signal, so answer everything where you are standing and it all lands when you are back in range. Nothing is lost and nothing is sent twice.
Lunch run. Somebody opens a run, everyone votes on where, then puts their order in. It closes into one list for whoever is fetching it, with the totals worked out.
Football pool. The weekly staff pick'em. Pick the winners, guess the margin on the tiebreaker, and watch the standings move on Saturday.
Shirt survey. When company shirts are being ordered, pick the styles and the size you want. Whoever places the order gets it as one sheet instead of a fortnight of hallway conversations.
HOW IT WORKS
You only see the tools you have been given access to, so your app may show fewer tabs than the person next to you. That is set on the server - being added to something makes it appear the next time you open the app, with nothing to reinstall.
Face ID or Touch ID unlock, with a short idle lock, so the app is not sitting open on a phone left on a truck seat.
No advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking of any kind. What it collects and who sees it is set out in the privacy policy.

DOVIS Stock has a new list view. Open it and every station is on one screen. Tap Out, Low, or To check at the top to see only those items, each with its count. Search covers every item in the building and says which room it lives in. The room buttons and search stay at the top while you scroll, and tapping a room jumps to it. Things that were out or low on the last walk show in red and amber instead of gray. The walk is still here: tap the walking figure beside search to go one station at a time, and the list icon to come back. Add item sits beside the room buttons, at the top instead of the bottom. The Walk tab is now called Stock.
