EV Range – Electric Range

The real-world range of your electric car. Most drivers do not use their battery from 0% to 100% in everyday driving. EV Range calculates the distance you can actually travel within the battery range you choose, for example from 20% to 80%. Enter your average consumption to estimate your real-world range based on your vehicle and driving conditions. The calculation can take into account: • the usable battery capacity; • the estimated battery degradation; • the outside temperature, detected automatically from your location or entered manually; • your average consumption. See at a glance how far you can travel with 5%, 10%, 20% or 30% battery. You can also estimate the battery percentage required to travel 10, 25, 50 or 100 km. CHARGING TIME AND COST Select the initial battery level and the desired level, then enter the charging power to estimate the required charging time. For DC fast charging, use the average charging power rather than the advertised maximum power, as charging speed varies throughout the session. Enter the price per kWh and, if necessary, the per-minute fee charged by the operator. EV Range will calculate the estimated total charging cost. You can also see at a glance the estimated time and cost required to add 10%, 25% or 50% battery. VEHICLES Select your electric car from the list of available models or add a custom vehicle. EV Range can use the vehicle’s usable battery capacity and WLTP range to simplify your estimates. CARPLAY View your vehicle’s main range information directly in CarPlay.
