Not worth it tbh

I came across a website that recommended this for vocal training but I don’t think it’s worth it. You have to basically pay to learn how to deepen your voice. I would rather deal with the dysphoria then have to go bankrupt to learn how to deepen my voice. I barely make enough for bills and food.

This is selfish…

I would rather take videos of my voice as i practice going deeper than use this app. You would have to be extremely money hungry to take money from TRANS CHILDREN, who most likely don’t have any way to deepen their voice using testosterone because of the transphobic government. I am glad you have two stars. Maybe you should listen to the reviews.

Must additional money for everything

Pointless. You can’t do anything without paying. Each lesson costs money and only one tool is free

Unreasonably Priced

Don’t get me wrong, I was going to spend the money, but I figured before I spent over $20 on an app, I’d check the reviews to be sure it actually works. Unfortunately most people couldn’t get passed the price to give me advice. Overall the app is a bit $$$ but if sure it could help people who can afford it. If I do end up purchasing lessons eventually, I will come back to edit. In the mean time, good luck my trans masc brothers 👉🏻

I don’t understand why you have to pay for all of them, if you needed money why didn’t you just make the app cost money itself-

The lessons go on sale periodically for $.99 each

It might be helpful to know that the lessons go on sale now & then for $.99 each. I’m a poor trans person too but that doesn’t mean it’s ok to spill vitriol at a professional trans woman who is charging much less than it would cost for a couple hours of in-person coaching. She doesn’t owe it to the community to give her work away for free. Don’t hate.

Trans People Are Broke Too

Most of the people using this can’t afford to dish out 5 dollars for EVERY INDIVIDUAL LESSON. I could see if it was 5 dollars to download the app, or 5 dollars once per month— but 5 dollars per lesson?! That’s ridiculous. A lot of trans people using this are probably just kids like me with unsupportive family and/or with not enough money for HRT (hormone replacement therapy), so the fact that you really think most of those kids are going to be able to afford that is absolutely absurd. This app is majorly disappointing and is a waste of time and space. For shame.

Expensive

I am a closeted 15yo trans guy I am the son of two very anti-lgbtq+ parents and I got really excited about this app when I saw the ad, once I found that the lessons costed money I got upset because I don't have a job and I can't ask my unsupportive parents to pay.

Why so expensive???

I am out to my parents, but they don’t support me. I’m 15 so I don’t have a way of earning money, I can’t pay for anything. Please fix this and make at least some lessons free for other ftm trans people like me. Help my brothers out, will ya?

Crystal Jose.

Why is Eva mtf better than Eva ftm ? And also I haven’t payed because I don’t got money but I’m willingly to do it

The literal definition of garbage

The app only allows you to use the voice pitcher for free, and the lessons the app contains is at an apalling 4.99$ per lesson. Eva ftm keeps disappointing me.

Immediate Paywall

Putting this app in the “free” section is laughable. Every part of the app requires a fee. $5 for each lesson, and the tools don’t unlock until you purchase specific lessons. The one tool that is supposedly unlocked to begin with appears to be a static image of a pitch tuner, rather than an interactive tool.
Get a guitar tuner app and watch some videos online. You’ll get more out of it.

I’m sure this is a great app, however

I am underage and my parents aren’t really supportive, and I have no source of income. This makes it very difficult for me to enjoy this app, seeing as I can not use the majority of it.
Voice dysphoria isn’t that bad for me, but I have a friend that is greatly effected by it, and it would be great if you could maybe have a free trial period, or a few lessons free.

Not worth it

Seriously? We really can't afford to pay for something that could really help us. Some of us have no way to even try to pay for it and even having the app is a risk and you're asking us to pay $5 a lesson? Honestly that's just wrong on so many levels.

way too expensive, even though it says it’s free.

ugh i have wanted this app for a long time but everything is overpriced. the lessons are $5 each which i can’t afford. the only thing i can use is the pitch tuner thingy which is only a little helpful. i had heated such good things about this app but i’m not willing to pay so much. it feels kinda discriminatory that it is the only app of its kind that i can find but it’s too expensive for most people. not cool.

make it free or delete it

NONE of your options are free and it’s incredibly disgusting you are trying to make profit off of people trying to pass better

Literally only have access to one thing.

Do I need to say more? This is quite frustrating and angering. I’m not going to pay for something that should be free.

I’d be willing to pay $5 for the app

but not each individual lesson. Please consider making your profits from the app price or some specialized lessons. Not from the basic lessons...

Disappointment I guess

There are so many other, more effective, more prosperous methods of gaining money than this. You could make it $5 per month, $5 per downloading the app, $1 per lesson, etc; thus gaining many more buyers than produced in your current method. I am very disappointed as this is unaffordable for many, and even thought this costs less than a voice trainer, it is much less effective too. Trans resources are so lacking and I’m disappointed in the availability of this one.

Well so much for helping with dysphoria

I saw this as an ad and it said it helped with lowering voice pitch for trans men like me and my best friend. I downloaded it and looked at it briefly without seeing everything cost money except for one thing. I told my best friend to get it and he said “I downloaded it. You have to pay for all the lessons,” I’m fairly upset that this happened because of all the positive reviews my friends gave me but also because you’re trying to get people to pay for something that really shouldn’t cost money. Most people who want this are trans kids like me with unsupportive parents and who want to help with dysphoria. So much for that though, I stick with my soprano for now until I find something free.
