Reading BEFORE Mass is Soooo Helpful
I love reading the readings before going to mass it is very difficult for me to listen and retain anything from the readings at mass. If I read them ahead of time when my mind is quiet I have a chance of retaining it; then when I’m at mass it is just a refresher. I also love the Saint of the day. I have been reading the readings and Saint of the day for about a year now.

I love this app! Please bring back the homily, sometimes they help move you closer to God by bringing the Gospel to life. It was my favourite part of the app
Where did the Commentary Go?!
I have used this app for about 8 months and loved it. But somewhere around December 2022, the Commentary feature of the Daily Reading disappeared. It was an invaluable feature. Reading the thoughts and teachings of Church fathers and female saints and abbesses going back as far as the 4th century gave invaluable insight to Catholic beliefs and tradition. Evangelizo is easily a 5 star app, but without the commentary it’s only worth 3. Please bring it back!!!!

Daily Gospel
Used to struggle to listen to Sunday Mass but ever since I read the first reading and Gospel in advance I was able to understand the homily of the priest.

Wonky navigation
I was pleased to see an update, and aesthetically it looks great. However, the scrolling and navigation can be jumpy and wonky. As I am scrolling through a reading sometimes the highlight tool pops into the text and suddenly the header pops in and out of view and I’m sent to either the bottom or top of page. It’s very sensitive. The top header that is designed to come in and out of view is annoying. Also when I get to the end of a reading and swipe for the next one, e.g. 1st reading to canticle, I’m taken to the bottom of its page and not the beginning and have to scroll up. Also the ticker-tape scrolling text with date at top is distracting. Other than this wonky and sometimes annoying navigation, the app looks great. Just wish it functioned a little better.

Wonderful Update
I use this app daily for readings, solid commentary from excellent sources, and the saint of the day. The recent update (July 2021) has made it so much easier to navigate. It is a pleasure to use. Highly recommend!

Stopped working, but working again
I love this app, really helps to catch up on my Gospel readings and it’s much easier than grabbing the big book. But it’s stopped this week. Haven’t been able to open the app, keeps crashing whenever I try opening it. I’ve tried turning off my phone and closing the app, but theres no way to get it to work at the moment. I will try deleting and reinstalling soon. Hope this gets addressed and rectified soon!
Edit: problem was fixed, app is back to being as perfect as it was! Also love the commentaries which explain and give further insight on each gospel. Thank you so much for this and God bless you all!

App is crashing!!!
I love this app hence the 5 star but it’s been crashing! Please fix the bug!!! I check this app everyday and it’s a part of my day.
App not showing readings.
This week I haven't been able to view any of the daily readings or gospel and shows blank.
Can this be rectified?
I deleted and reinstalled the app but same thing unfortunately and I love this app.

Great app. Needs update
I love this app. I love the insight from many of the great saints. I would like to see it updated more frequently. I often have to delete and then reload the app.
Eh.
I really like that it has the commentary from saints, popes, etc. I just don't like that the Bible they use for the readings are the ones with the really poor and often imprecise translation.
