It’s too simple

Ideally this is what I was looking for something simple but I would like to see the actual date when I go directly to the event, at a minimum. But it would be nice to see the date in the listed events also.

Alright, but

I would love to have the ability to make a widget that counted days since an event. It doesn't look like I can do that unfortunately. Everything else works fine and the photo background feature is a great selling point.

Wish it would show ‘Today’ instead of moving on…

Love the app. It does exactly what I need it to do. I like the option of adding my own photos or CCO photos. My only complaint is that I wish it would show Today when you hit 0 days on a countdown instead of skipping onto the next entry. For example, when it’s counting down to a birthday, I want it to show the birthday as Today when it hits 0 days, but it goes to the next upcoming event that is days, weeks or even months ahead. You kind of feel robbed of the day when viewing it in the app, because it’s moved on already.

Cant erase any old countdown

It’s a great app besides you have to pay to have more than two countdowns and you can’t erase any old countdowns- it’s goes from days until to days since but they’re forever there unless you probably pay to get the most expensive version of the app

A few problems.

It is a great app but, there is a few problems. I set this for a certain date, and if the days were 20 you have to read it as 19. Last problem can we not use the whole picture? Why cut out the whole background??

Hello. I don't understand what you mean by the 20/19 days. The whole picture sometimes has to be cropped because the dimensions of your picture likely don't match the dimensions of your screen.

There isn’t a pro app

I bought the pro version of this app, supposedly lifetime. There isn’t such an app. Not in their links, not in the App Store, not in their list of products they have. It is a scam. My app keeps asking me to pay to update. I already did so, but I paid the money and nothing came of it. I have requested a refund. Use another app.

Hello. There is a Pro version. You can even see it listed on the App Store description of the app. Just to be clear, this app would not have passed Apple Review if it didn't do what it says it does. Now I'm happy to help if you need to figure things out.

Hello. Your issue with no being able to use your own photos is most likely due to the fact you denied the app access to your photos when prompted. To fix this, open the Settings app, scroll down to the Countdown section, tap on it, and select PHOTOS. Then make sure ALL PHOTOS are selected.

Added charges afterwards

I purchased this app and paid for a “one-time purchase”. The app received an update and they didn't honor the purchase I already made. They wanted me to pay again...:/

Hello. You are either confusing my app for another one, or you are using 2 different Apple IDs. If you indeed bought the one-time upgrade, it will be free forever as long as you keep the same Apple ID. If you are 100% sure you are using the same Apple ID, make sure to tap the "Restore Purchase" button in the app settings. UPDATE: Can’t unsubscribe!

The developer replied. Apparently I had already unsubscribed, that’s why I only saw a renewal option. Thank you for the quick response! Original message: This app doesn’t suit my needs and I have no option to unsubscribe. When I open Settings / Subscriptions, there is only the option to renew. No option to unsubscribe. Help!!

Hello. If you only see the option to Renew, it means you have already unsubscribed.

Don’t bother.

This app crashed multiple times. I never got to put in one countdown. I am deleting and finding something else.

How to delete event

Plagiarism at its finest

This app is a blatant rip off of the countdown app “Days”. Absolutely shameful practise and poorly executed too. I’m surprised such an obvious clone is even allowed on the App Store. To others reading this review - please don’t support this shady behaviour

Clean & Minimalistic but not many features.

The app is good looking on the surface, very clean and minimalistic which I like and the widgets feature is a bonus. However, it lacks some of its competitors features like “ongoing events” etc.

After trying a bunch of other countdown apps and being disappointed, I found this one in a list after googling “best iOS countdown apps”.

Looks and performs great, thank you!

My only request would be a dark/night theme.
