What's New in Evenweave

1.0.4 (10)

August 28, 2026

Getting started is clearer, and one long-standing display bug is fixed. • A short walkthrough the first time you open a chart: what a tap does, how one finger marks while two move the canvas, and what the colour legend is for. • New "How stitching works" page in Settings — every stitch mode, every gesture, how importing works step by step, and how backups work. • Highlighting a dark thread now actually shows you something. Tapping DMC 310 (or any near-black colour) on the dark themes used to change almost nothing on screen. Highlighted stitches now stand out clearly on every theme. • The day streak is now optional. Settings › Show Streak. Turning it off only hides it — your streak keeps counting, so it's all still there if you switch it back on. Thank you to everyone who wrote in — every item above came from your messages.

Does not work

This app is not for uploading existing charts to stitch from. It will not load symbols and accurate floss information. I found this to be unusable.

Response from developer

Really appreciate you taking the time to write this, and I'm sorry it let you down. You're right on both counts. It doesn't handle big multi page charts yet, and the import still makes you set things up by hand instead of pulling the symbols and floss automatically. That part is on me to fix. Where I'm at right now: bigger colour support (up to 250) and a light theme are landing this week. Multi page import and proper auto detection are what I'm working on next. They're basically the whole reason I started building this, so I want to get them right rather than rush them. If you're ever up for giving it another go once those land, I'd really like that. Either way, thanks for being honest about it. It helps more than you'd think.
