Paying for what was Free
I bought my evermix back in year 2022. Was able to record my mixes and edited. All for free after my purchase. Then a big update happened and everything was still free. Now you want to charge me a monthly Subscription for things I was able to do for free after buying and owning my product. I cannot recommend this app or the equipment used to record. It’s Crazy and unpredictable.

New app SUCKS
Before the new owners, it USED to be great. I absolutely love the device. The original app was ok - simple enough, workable, and didn’t try to put functionality behind a SECOND pay wall. I mean, we already bought the freaking hardware!! The app should be there to make the hardware function, not try to extract more money out of us and make things MORE complicated. Not to mention, when listening in the new app, if you leave the app and come back, it completely refreshes and forgets both the file you were listening to, and the time stamp of where you left off. Infuriating!!!!!!

Money grab
The original app was fantastic. Paying £160 for the box and getting the app to record and do some fine editing was worth it. Now you have to subscribe for functionality. Probably going to sell this off and get the Howler instead. So disappointed with the way it’s gone.
App jetzt mit Abo
Ein absolut mieser Move. Habe mir den Evermix gerade erst geholt. Ja, die App war Basic. Aus meiner Sicht völlig völlig I.O.

Not updating
It seems there is an update but till now , it’s not showing in app store, turned off phone, refreshed app store, deleted accnt many times, not working…only records audio and not video either audio 🤬
Can’t get the so called pro setup even though I have only just started with a free trial
Won’t work, I’ve tried everything to try and use the pro editing software but it’s not there, I’m using iPhone 13 mini
Downgraded
This used to be the elite recording app. I never had issues recording my sets, now error messages. Doesn’t populate meta data when exported anywhere. Nothing makes it worth the new monthly payment. Anyone is the company that thinks they made it better is grossly incompetent. Would not suggest the product like I used to. Will they care? Nope. Don’t pay for the subscription, we have enough in this life already

Great app
This is a great app to stream and record your dj sessions. Great beginner app and easy to use, Only complain is the video record option. Kind of unfortunate that you can’t zoom out 0.5x on the camera, other than that the app is great and audio is great quality.
Update awful
Really disappointed with the update - I purchased this as a one time purchase I don’t want a subscription based service. All previously recorded mixes are gone, and I can’t export or listen to any newly recorded mixes. Really hard to use now.
Update needs to be updated properly
I went to record a set made sure everything was running good. When I ended the set. I went to go listen to it… but then it says “Unable to Load Recording” Large WAV files may need to be processed first. It’s been saying that for a whole day already. This is unacceptable
Terrible Update!
I have the Evermix Box 4 & the original app with full blue waveform enabled you to set start point of the recording, fade in, fade out, set end time etc, the full blue waveform of the recording enabled you to find tune editing & share with Mixcloud etc! Since the new Evermix Box 5 has been introduced, the new app doesn’t cut it am afraid, it’s a major step backwards, no waveform to enable editing the mix in fine detail, the app doesn’t allow recording before audio is received, issues with the Evermix Box 4 recording on it too, I much preferred the original app & to rub salt in the wounds they want you to pay a fee to get the full version to enable editing, however I wouldn’t pay or recommend Evermix, save your money & get an alternative!

What have you done?
I have been completely happy with the Evermix product, up until you released the all singing and dancing new App that leaves me with a clipping sound on all recordings that wasn’t there before. I have done everything your help team suggested - reload App / change recordings preferences all to no avail. Complete and utter disappointment - after supporting this product for years.

Terrible customer service
I’ve sent three emails about an issue that I’ve had. No response.
It’s all gone!
Every mix that has been recorded has now disappeared with no warning or explanation. After paying for the device we now have to pay a subscription which I don’t mind but at least let us keep what’s already been recorded. This is extremely poor from Evermix!
App is terrible
Had my box few years now with no issues at all now this new app I can’t access my mixes they won’t play they just buffer😳surely if we are paying for the app now it needs to be better guys come on🙈
Amazing update
I just recorded a mix through the app, it was super easy to connect and records. I was able to check my levels before recording and hit record and let it do its thing. When I was finish I was able to send a link with ease.
Bad app, bad system
The app and device hasn’t worked for me one single time. I’ve had it since October 2025. Garbage
New App issues
Lost all my recordings when updating the app. I do not want to pay for monthly subscription services, which should be included when you buy an expensive device. The recordings work great
Great sound quality
Great sound quality , easy recording and good support when needed!
Thanks guys
Thanks guys
Worse In Every Regard
The previous versions of the Evermix App were simple and easy to use, the new one has now updated automatically and as a result I’ve lost about 4 years of stored recordings. This seems to be an issue experienced by all users so I’d thoroughly recommend steering clear of newer versions unless you’ve moved all recordings off the app.
I’m unsure as to how such an oversight could be allowed to clear but this appears to be part of a wider trend across audio tech companies, in which releasing shiny new interfaces trumps actually innovating or building upon previously established functionality in any way, with key legacy concepts somehow getting worse with each new iteration (looking at you Pioneer/Alpha Theta).
This apocalyptic failure aside, the new app now requires the creation of an account and boasts a regrettable slew of unnecessary interface changes, making a once simple app a bit of a pain to navigate.
If I hadn’t lost all of my recordings I’d probably be a bit happier with accepting the UI change and just getting used to it, but allowing this to happen speaks volumes regarding either dev inadequacy or a total lack of care regarding the recording archives of long-standing customers.
