Excellent App, But It Needs Better Library Management
I’ve been using Evermusic with a large offline library (around 2,000 MP3 files), and overall I really like the app and its interface. However, I’ve encountered several issues that make managing a large music collection difficult.
1. Newly added music is not detected automatically. When I add new audio files to the Evermusic folder, they do not appear in the library until I manually import or refresh them. The app should automatically detect newly added files.
2. Search indexing is inconsistent. Some songs cannot be found even though they exist in the library. If I open a song in the tag editor and simply save it again, it immediately becomes searchable. This suggests the search index is not updated correctly.
3. Search should work across all metadata fields. Currently, searching is inconsistent and does not reliably search all tags (Title, Artist, Album, Album Artist, etc.). It should search every metadata field as well as filenames.
4. Please add a “Rebuild Library / Reindex Library” option. This would allow users to refresh the entire library without editing thousands of files one by one.
5. Importing or replacing files changes their order. The original file order is lost after importing or replacing tracks. Please provide an option to preserve the original order or allow manual sorting.
6. Batch tag editing needs more powerful tools. It would be very helpful to copy filenames into the Title tag, copy values between tag fields, and perform bulk metadata operations.
7. Deleting files from within the app often fails. When I try to delete a song from Evermusic and remove it from the device at the same time, I frequently receive an error. This should work reliably without requiring users to delete files manually from the Files app.
Evermusic has one of the best interfaces for offline music on iOS, but these issues make it difficult to manage large offline libraries. Fixing them would make Evermusic the best offline music player on the App Store.

Ads On Paid Version
It used to be a good app, but ever since they added ads to the paid version, I’m looking for a new music player. The ads are horribly invasive. They take over your entire screen for like five seconds while they play a video over your music.

This app is fantastic. If you’re looking to stream your own music there’s no better app. Easy to use, feature packed and very affordable. You can’t go wrong.
Playback problem
Ever since the new update dropped the features are nice but the issue is that the playbacks are inaccurate now as if I slide the time from 00:00 to 20:00 for example it will put itself in 36:43 or any other but the music will play to the time I slid it to.

No seriously I’ve been using it since 2025 and never had any major issues. It has so many features (with more being added!). Makes listening to music on the go as simple as can be. Words can’t even describe how much I love this app. Best music app out there!

曲をインポートするのは簡単でバックグラウンド再生もしっかり出来ます。プレイリスト作成やリピート再生などもでき、再生履歴も残る優れものではあるのに…
曲が再生されない、リストには曲が入っているのに一曲のみしか再生出来ないなどのバグがあります。
曲を消して入れ直しても改善されることはなくアンインストールしてまたインストールし直して曲を入れ直すという大掛かりな手間がかかります。あと、たまに再生途中で曲が止まることもしばしばです。
"まぁ、無料だから所詮はそのくらいか…"と納得出来る人にしか向いておりません。

i’m a niche music freak and streaming platforms really push me away with either an overabundance of ads or a lot of the songs i like simply not being available.
this app solves both of my problems AND i get to sort my music on my phone everywhere just like i do on my desktop at home!
amazing stuff! the team’s constantly updating the app to fix bugs and i rarely have any issues.

a constant ask i have regarding this app is the randomness algorithm within playlists. i do very much wish that it was truly random, i keep getting the same songs on shuffle every single time and it’s pretty annoying

why’s it buggin out bro
the apps tweaking it used to work well now everytime i try to listen to my playlist it starts lagging glitching and everything. only plays one song. worst song of my playlist too
