Fantastic app
My everyday driver
Major Playback Control Bugs — No Response From Developers
I’ve used Evermusic Pro and generally liked the app, but since the recent update, basic playback controls no longer work properly on my iPhone 17 Pro running iOS 26.6.
Not only do the hardware controls on my headphones and earbuds no longer work for play/pause, next/previous track, or volume, but the Evermusic audio player also does not appear on the iPhone Lock Screen while music is playing.
This means there is essentially no convenient way to control playback. If I want to pause a song, skip a track, or otherwise control my music, I have to unlock my phone, manually open Evermusic Pro, and use the controls inside the app itself.
I’ve tested the hardware controls with multiple devices, including Beats Studio Pro and OnePlus Buds, with the same result. These controls work normally with other audio apps, so the problem appears to be specific to Evermusic Pro.
I contacted the developers/support about these issues on July 16th, but unfortunately they have neither been resolved nor meaningfully addressed.
For a paid “Pro” music player, functioning headphone controls and Lock Screen playback controls are fundamental features, not optional conveniences. It’s especially frustrating because Evermusic Pro otherwise has a lot to offer.
I’d be happy to revise my rating if the developers acknowledge and fix these problems, but until then, I can’t recommend Evermusic Pro in its current state.

Great app if you own a digital music library that just keeps getting better.
I have been using this app for my digital music library since 2018, and while some features may have taken a little longer to implement than expected or promised (Normalization), the developers take really good care of it and continue to build upon what was already a great foundation years ago, it has come such a long way and as of Summer 2026, it's a near perfect music app, packed with features, with great support, and very few bugs that are often fixed very quickly. This app has a lot of great things about it, things you can’t get in other music apps, such as importing and exporting, editing files and folders, wi-fi drives and transferring, cloud services, the support of multiple audio formats, normalization and so much more. It’s fantastic. The UI could use a little bit more customization options but they have made great strides. Overall, you’re not going to find another app with so many high quality features. If you value owning your own digital music library, and like being able to have full control over what song goes where, names of files, full audio tags, album covers, song covers, alongside every other feature a music app should have such as equalizer, a search function, fully customizable playlists etc. then this is a must have app. Mind you, it's not always peachy, the devs do mess up from time to time but they listen to feedback and adjust course. Worth the asking price for premium.
