I grew up with Selwyn’s EDWJ and he has been a great start to my day for the last 40 years. HE’S one of the best. Only thing I noticed with the app every now and then a couple of days of the readings don’t have the option to play, which I now use as my eyes aren’t what they used to be. Many thx🙏🏻

I have been looking for some daily readings that I find relatable and this fits the bill.

But the last few days there hasn’t been an opportunity to have the text read. I read appreciate this and so do many I have recommended it to. This is such a help to dyslexic people and many others so please reinstate it. Thanks.
Also, please will the man who is reading take time, stop at full stops, so it’s not sooooooo hurried as if he wants to get through it as fast as possible.

Love the app…. But the audio play button now quickly disappears every time I open it… have tried updating and reinstalling but doesn’t help…?

This app is relevant, intelligent and delivered perfectly by presenters who speak warmly, at a comfortable speed without being patronising or overly “Christian “!! Love it! So refreshing and yet the content is challenging and inspiring!! Well done Waverley!!
Good app with one major bug
If you live in Australia or New Zealand ( or similar time zones), the Daily Streak may not work reliably as it is based on UK time and will result in your Daily Streak resetting to zero if you vary your reading times
Terrible interface
Black on black, 1st devotional app seen that loves black background, no simple back and forth. It is prisonlike, not showing options without going back and forth
Isn’t always insightful
I often find that the explanations given are not that insightful and seem to miss the mark. For instance saying that Jesus was caught by surprise at the Father turning His back on Him as He bore the sin of the world. Jesus was quoting Psalm 22 when He said My God, My God etc. This contains a wonderful promise and it’s not mentioned.
