Obscure answers/topics in the word puzzles😠

The answers to the clues in the crossword puzzles and cladder are far too obscure. Enough of the music trivia and unknown politicians from more than 30 years ago. Also, please stop asking for the short form, or abbreviation of words that are actually in the clue.
That’s insultingly too simple.
There can be a happy medium of general knowledge that can be a bit challenging and a lot more fun to play along with.
