About
This EVICD XR Trainer by Medtronic is an augmented reality experience for EVICD Tool awareness by providing an interactive experience using cutting edge technology. The application provides an interactive experience where users can interact with the augmented visuals and learn about the usage of tools from a different perspective. The augmented reality nature allows users to explore a tool from any vantage point, building a stronger mental model possible than conventional presentations. This application functions in conjunction with a companion iPad app. Users must scan a QR code to initiate a session, which allows the companion app to join.

The first device to launch the application serves as the master iPad, enabling session creation. Subsequent iPads joining the session act as trainee devices. This sequence is demonstrated in the video accessible via the provided link.

• This app requires a high-bandwidth Wi-Fi LAN connection.
• Personal hotspots are not supported, and slow networks may prevent the app's multiplayer system from working properly.
