More Than Just Stock Numbers
I downloaded Evolty to give it a try, and I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised.
I’m not a financial expert nor a daily trader, I’m just a casual user who wants to make better informed investments, I’ve used other apps and websites and at worst I get more confused by all the terminology and at best they lack a lot of concise information.
Evolty is different.
There’s a lot of information packed into this app, and when I say a lot a mean A LOT, but what I particularly like is how well everything is organized. The UI is clean and not cluttered at all, the different sections are clearly categorized, and the highlights make it easy to get the important information without having to read through the entire report.
I especially like the different valuation scenarios (bear, base and bull), which help put things into perspective by showing not just potential outcomes but also the assumptions behind them.
Another thing worth mentioning is the contextual help throughout the app. If you are not a financial expert or you are just starting to learn, use it, I mean it, There are explanations for the different scores, metrics and sections, which makes a big difference if you’re not particularly familiar with financial terminology. I initially misunderstood some of the main indicators, but after exploring those explanations, everything started to make sense.
Even with the knowledge base it offers I still came across some terminology I had to look up, but I was able to understand the overall picture and walk away with a much better idea of how a company is performing and whether it might be a good investment at its current price.
Overall, it’s a very interesting tool for anyone who likes researching stocks before making investment decisions.
Whether you are a seasoned trader, a complete beginner or a very light casual investor like me, I think this app will help you.
I’ll definitely be keeping it on my phone and using it to evaluate potential companies to invest in.
