What's New in EVRadar
1.6
October 27, 2026
What's New in EVRadar 1.6 iPad • EVRadar now runs on iPad. • In a wide window, Nearby and Favorites show the list beside the open station. The map opens a station in a column next to it and keeps the selected marker in view. • Settings opens My Car, your charging tariffs, Help and its other pages beside the list. The charging history shows the year's figures next to your charges. • Menu bar and keyboard shortcuts: tabs with ⌘1–⌘5, Search with ⌘F, Filter with ⌥⌘F, Near Me with ⌘L, Refresh with ⌘R and Add Charge with ⇧⌘N (Pro). • With a trackpad or mouse, station cards highlight under the pointer. Drag a station into other apps, or long-press it for a small map preview with its name and address. • An extra large Favorites widget shows twelve favorites in two columns. EVRadar Pro • A “Save … %” badge on the yearly plan shows the saving compared with twelve monthly payments, calculated from current App Store prices. More Room • The tab bar shrinks while you scroll down – in Nearby, Favorites, your charging history and Settings – and is back as soon as you scroll up. Without a Location • When EVRadar can't use your location, Nearby and the map say "No location" instead of looking like a search that found nothing. "Open Location Settings" takes you straight to where to allow it, and reload waits until there's a position to search around. • The map hides its location button while there's no position, instead of leaving it spinning. Map • Messages over the map look cleaner: a tinted symbol – orange when something went wrong – a shorter explanation that covers less of the map, and buttons that span the card evenly. The card keeps the same distance from the tab bar as from the screen edges. Nearby • The subtitle shows the number of chargers again and is no longer cut off when you sort by power, availability or rating. More Apps • Settings now points you to CostRadar for subscriptions and costs, and SkipAlarm for holiday-aware alarms. Plus refinements and fixes.
