About

ExamLock Student helps students stay focused during exams and school hours. Check in voluntarily by scanning a QR code or tapping an NFC tag, and the app helps you stay on task until you're done. KEY FEATURES: • Quick Check-In — Scan your teacher's QR code or tap an NFC tag to join a session. No account or password needed. • NEW: School Day Mode — Start your school day by scanning a School Day QR code. The app helps you stay focused by limiting access to distracting apps until the scheduled end of day. Phone calls and SMS remain available throughout. • Exam Focus Mode — During exams, the app uses Apple's Automatic Assessment Configuration to help you focus on your test. • Student ID Card Scan — Use your camera to scan your student ID card. OCR technology reads your student number automatically. • Live Countdown Timer — See your remaining exam time on screen at all times. • Early Completion — Finished early? Your teacher can end your session so you can return to normal use. • Privacy-First — No personal information required. You are identified only by your student number. Your device ID is hashed locally and never shared in raw form. • No Account Required — No email, no password, no sign-up. Just enter your student number and you're ready. ExamLock Student works with ExamLock Teacher to support focused learning. The app uses Apple's Automatic Assessment Configuration (AAC) and Family Controls frameworks, both of which require the student's explicit consent before any restrictions apply.
