About

Can't run for one minute straight? That's the starting line. ExcuseRun is a beginner run coach that walks you from your first minute to a 20-minute run. And when you're done, it turns the distance into a card. ■ It talks you through the run · "Run one minute." "Walk two minutes, catch your breath." · A heads-up 30 seconds before each interval ends · It ducks your music instead of stopping it · Keeps going with the screen off ■ Standing still doesn't count against you · Stop at a light and the timer stops with you · Start moving and it picks right back up · Paused time comes out of your total ■ The plan follows you · One question sets your level. No test run · Start by Walking / 20 to 30 / Holding 40 / Picking Up Speed · Not your day? Skip the interval · Skip a few and the plan quietly steps back a week · If your goal is far off, it shows you the steps instead of saying no ■ A card for every run · The same 5km is Cheonggyecheon today, blossom road tomorrow · 40 cards across Neighborhood, Seoul, Space, and Food · It reads as a joke, not a flex, so you can actually post it ■ You can see the change · How your longest unbroken run grew, minute by minute · Replay any past run interval by interval — where you paused, what you skipped · A streak calendar for the days you moved ■ Light on purpose · No account. Everything stays on your phone · Location is only used to measure distance and never leaves the device · Deny location and the interval guidance still works · No watch needed. Log treadmill, walking, running or stairs by hand For everyone who tried to start running three times already.
